General Chat / Re: Show your colors - The Liveries Topic
« on: November 13, 2010, 11:43:44 am »Fancy a fleet change though.
Would like the back half of it black including the tail fin with AWA on it. The 1st half of it silver. On the back half however like a big picture of a world or a sun. A bit like the Titan Airways B763 livery,
One other thing i am an alliance creator for this world and the alliance is One World Alliance. If this could be on it too.
If it all possible can it be done in an A319, A321, B752 and B762ER as these are the aircraft i will use.
thanks guys

« on: November 11, 2010, 11:35:48 am »Depending upon how many members are in the alliance i may be looking for someone to give me a hand with it, someone that isnt in my timeframe GMT-0 Dublin. Will see how things pan out.
Is there any news on a broker for this world yet? and has the starting aircraft been decided as of yet? I have just finalised my domestic adn international bases. Has the starting year been decided along with the length of the game? am just trying to work out my game plan.
One thing i will say regarding alliance members, I will replace my aircraft as frequently as possible. e.g A319 every 2.5-3years and B762ERs every 1-1.5years. This is to keep my fleet the youngest in the industry. I will sell these aircraft onto alliance members for 50-60% of their value so you will get a massive benefit. I will also help struggling airlines and if i have the fund will act as a broker for those smaller airlines in the alliance, which i have done previously. I won't charge any % for the brokerage but at the moment i won't be able to offer any discount. I can offer my advice. When my DOC reaches 100million per day i will offer some sort of discount but this will take me roughly 2-2.5years to build up to this level.
Finally I have decided upon my fleet requirements for the airline, if the year of start is 1996.
My fleet will generally be an Airbus and Boeing fleet, with initially Airbus doing the short haul sectors and Boeing doing the Long Haul flights until the A332 comes into operation in 1998. I will also consider operating a boeing fleet to do short haul flights but at the moment I have decided to also operate the Fokker 100 and Fokker 70 as a regional part of the airline. These aircraft will allow me to offer increased frequencies on business routes and will be a big operator in Europe for the airline. We will operate 2 kinds of the A319, a 4254nm range and also the smaller range. The A319 over time will be also used for some TATL flights to smaller destinations that cannot be served by the larger aircraft but will make us the largest airline in the world in terms of revenue, pax number and fleet size.
A319
A320-200
A321-200
A330-200 (for long haul transatlantic flights and some US domestic flights in operation in 1998)
B757-200 (will be a big factor is our growth strategy especially TATL flights, this allows increased freq and lower costs)
B767-200ER
B767-300ER ( this isn't confirmed yet and will only operate to connect bases or alliance bases)
As previously confirmed the Fokker 100 and Fokker 70 will also be used in North America and will allow for AWA to operate to airports that cannot sustain a larger aircraft on the route.
AWA

« on: November 07, 2010, 11:16:16 am »AWA will be operating from North America and Europe, with at the moment no intentions to open bases outside of these regions. Our full allocation of bases has already been taken for international bases and we are finalizing our domestic bases. Therefore it is key for us to build strong relationships with other airlines that serve destinations outside of our network in order to offer our passengers as many services as possible.
Any airlines that feel that they could compliment my service and also i could compliment their service feel free to let your interest be known in this alliance.
As previously said before, the alliance is a restricted one, does have rules but is very relaxed. This is what makes it successful. When the games actually begins i will make a post in the relevant form regarding the rules of the alliance, and there i will ask for another airline to help me monitor the alliance.
thanks

« on: November 05, 2010, 11:27:39 am »My start up base is once again ATL. I have an airline logo created and also a livery for my airline created.
The rest of my chosen bases I wish to keep to myself for competition reasons, As anyone who played the previous world knows i do not open all bases within a year. I will open a base and grow that base until im the number 1 operator there or the highest percentage of seats available i believe i can get.
I would like to put forward now an alliance. One World Alliance. I already have a logo for this alliance which i created in a previous public world which made it become the largest alliance in that world, bigger than the Brokerage Alliance. Any member wishing to join this alliance please feel free, it will be a restricted alliance with a given set number of rules that airlines must agree to before joining as well as meeting a criteria. (pretty easy)
I obviously want to get as many airlines from as many different bases as possible, so e,g there must be no 2 airlines in the alliance operating from the same base unless authorised by the airline operating from that base in the alliance. This happened me in the previous world, i came to codeshare agreements and concentrated on long haul while one airline provided my short haul connecting flights. It really works and increases the number of flights within the alliance available. Let me know what u fink.

« on: September 09, 2010, 03:22:13 pm »Airline Name: AWA - Aer World Airlines
Country: United Kingdom/Ireland
Colours: Black, Orange, Yellow and Green
Extra Info: i would like the plane to be black, a little like the new titan livery, don't mind whatever else or the way the logo is. and if possible to fit the livery to A318/9 or A321-200 and the A332.
Greatly Appreciated
