PW#609. Outta Gas will open in 24 game hours. This world takes place in S America, Australasia, and Africa, and is open (no password). Game starts in 2000 and lasts 4 years, and you begin with $400k and 1 Shorts 360-300.

Anyone is welcome to enter, but you're encouraged to roleplay the scenario:

In a world of rising fuel costs and increasing interest in "green technology," your challenge is to build and operate the world's most fuel-efficient fleet. This means NO jet aircraft, and mainly short hauls. How will YOU meet the challenge?

At a minumum, you must directly connect the seat of government in Austin with every U.S. state capitol, plus Washington, D.C. To earn the Republic’s gratitude, you should also provide direct flights from Austin, Houston or Dallas to these 12 other major cities: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, St. Louis, Chicago, Detroit, New Orleans, Miami, Philadelphia, and New York. You have only four years to complete this task.

The Republic has granted you two new Bombardier CRJ-100LRs, 52-seat aircraft capable of cruising 2,305 miles at 459 mph, plus $500,000 and one gate rental at a Texas airport of your choosing.
