Would a better prop work or if I upgrade it to something like the DC9-15 would that be good for these routes? I feel that 40 seats is not enough, but these routes do not need my smallest jet, the SE 210 Caravelle Super 10B.
Bugs / Re: Cannot Close Routes
« on: February 11, 2009, 02:54:02 am »Bugs / Cannot Close Routes
« on: February 10, 2009, 11:21:10 pm »I have another aircraft that is based in my ABQ hub that has enough hours for the ABQ flights that are in the aircraft in the screenshot above. When I tried to close the routes and recreate them with the different aircraft, I get the following error:
Route closure not allowed.
Existing route is the only connection between two or more other routes flown by this plane.
I have not been able to find a way to get around this.
This is in world 350 and the plane affected is 3647 and here is a link to my airline..
Airline Mogul - See my airline
Any ideas on how to resolve this?
General Chat / Re: Multiworlds: is it good, or bad?
« on: January 05, 2009, 11:35:39 pm »To be honest, i liked Public Multiworlds only. Private worlds have ruined the bondage of players, and has ruined what Airline Mogul is famous for, high competition ! Without high competition, Airline Mogul is not unique enough... the only thing unique is the Irish Green, or maybe the "Hot Pink" that was on the old game
I have to agree here, ever since the private worlds came into play, the public worlds have died up and are sometimes only 5 years long now.
Game Strategy / Re: To replace or not to replace... leased aircraft that is....
« on: September 30, 2008, 11:55:33 pm ».. fair enough.. but then why most successful airlines have purchased their aircraft instead of leasing them?
thanks..
My strategy was to buy the aircraft 2nd hand and then replace it with a new model when I could afford it. I did this in I think W9 with the F28-200, I bought several cheap used models and replaced them with new models when I could afford the purchase. I leased an aircraft once, but then returned it when I was able to buy the same model. I used the F28s to get my fleet into all F28s and then used the money to expand into B737-200s. I also purchased a couple of B727 Executive Jets, and I think those were a waste of money because of the number of seats they have. I have them on longer routes, but I need to get them on some shorter routes. May not be the best, but it works for me and has kept me in the black and able to compete with the airlines out of my hub and that serve the cities that I do.
