Bugs / Alliance Routes Mix up
« on: September 11, 2008, 09:55:44 am »
Heya.

In World 10 currently, I own an Alliance which has my other member owning Charlotte, Beijing and Los Angeles.

However, when I go to the create route button, the alliance bases are not those, and instead I have access to Milan, Manchester, Brussels, Berlin S, Barcelona and Bordeaux.

Could this please be cleared up so no-one can take advantage from this.

Honestly, Vardax's are the best starter planes. BUT, once you get in the game, their DOP gets outclassed by almost everything and when you get alot of Bae Jetstreams on your routes, your really buggered.

So good for short term, bad for long term.

Game Strategy / Re: Replacing planes on routes worth it?

Just try and find a plane, thats relatively good. Example: world 10 has the bae Jetstream and KFC. Both have roughly 70 seats, the KFC has a range of 1600Nm and they are very good for replacing little planers. Eg, I am swapping all my planes over to Bae Jetstream, KFC's and just chucking my Boeing on my larger routes.

And that's why, I put my bigger planes like my Airbus A319 and Boeing 737-500 on my larger flights, and I generally use Bae Jetstream J61 and KFC planes on my smaller ones, its just easier to do and cheaper..

Well, when I Started I bought 12 Paris Charles De Gaule gates, and, as their both cheap second hand, and do well, went and bought 50 of them.

I have now changed them over with Bae Jetstream J61's and Airbus's, but for a starter plane and airline booster, they are a very good way to go. True they average 20k a route, but thats still great value for a plane that costs 500k.

Blue.

My rank In World 11 is Number 4=3 and I am one of three people at Chicago O Hare, and I am ripping it up.

DOP = 8m

Come join me at Chicago O Hare.

If not, choose a place where no-one would be so you can make a fortune. Eg Denver has 1 person, St Louis has 1. Their both big airports. Same with Minnesota's airport.

Or...be extra nice for me and drown Atlanta with cheap tickets so I can get NUMBER 1. JUST KIDDING. Don't do that.

Just looking over the gate search, it says from Chicago O Hare to Harbor Springs is 282NM.
Yet on the map, Harbor Springs is near Brazil, which should be roughly 2800 NM away.

I can fly their currently with my DHC-3 Otter.

This needs to be changed.

Thank-you for reading.

Ok, currently having a train route alone would be rather bad for certain area's.

Take Australia as an example. There's great travel across the country, but yet, we cannot link to any other countries.\
That doesn't help.

Therefore, I propose bringing in Ships to the equation, as an example.

Or like many others have considered, brining trains into the game.

However, why would we need trains, considering you would be limited to a small region, and not worldwide travel.
