Culturally, unless you live inside of Istanbul, then you'd probably do things very differently than in Europe.

I had been in several European countries, lived in Sweden for years, lived in Istanbul and now I live in the capital city, Ankara, my hometown. I do not do things different than I did in other cities and countries I lived before. I think you have to see a country first before making any "serious" comments about it. Besides, the borders you mentioned, are being discussed in today's world. For example, some people call Russia Eurasia, some of them call it Asia, some call Europe. Turkey locates between two continents (a transcontinental country) and has land on both continents, which most of it is on Asia side. According to your thesis, Israel shouldn't participate Eurovision. And why is Southern Cyprus a member of EU?

@beirut785, at cnn.com, Cyprus is in Middle East too. if you check bbc.com, you'll see Turkey in Europe.

Actually, I asked the very first question because I'm not thinking of putting flights to the east but to the west. I can only create bases in Middle East, and I don't prefer to do it in Iran or Saudi Arabia (just a personal preference, with all my respect to people of those countries).

As I wrote before, we are just playing a game here, we don't need to go in politics and we shouldn't. I apologize from everyone if I had any offensive behaviour in my messages. I don't mean to be provocative or show any nationalist behaviour. With my kind regards.

Actually I disagree with Seattle. I am a Turkish citizen and culturally I don't feel even close to Middle East but Europe. I think that would be very assertive to say that it's culturally in Middle East. As geographically; it's connecting Europe and Asia. Middle East is the name of the region but not the continent. Some parts of the country(like Istanbul and many other cities, around 20 million population) is in Europe continent and the rest is in Asia.
As I wrote before, Middle East is even not a continent. Why is it listed under continents? Shouldn't it be Asia?

So Turkey can't be in Europe because there are so few airports in Middle East. But in real life there actually ARE few airports in Middle East. So this shouldn't be the reason.
If you are giving the names of the regions, maybe you may think of putting Eastern Europe, Western Europe, Northern Europe etc. So Europe wouldn't be so strong in the game.

I would like to make it clear that I don't mean to be nationalist or anything political. I only would like to see everything in international standards, as IATA and ICAO accepted.

According to IATA http://www.iata.org/worldwide/europe and ICAO http://www.paris.icao.int/member_states/member_states.htm websites, Turkey is in Europe continent, not Middle East. Also in many other websites, which asks you to choose your country, Turkey locates in Europe. I think this change should be done in AM.

Fuel prices now fluctuate monthly, and are mildly loosened from the yearly averages we've got in the database.  they can swing +-5% (plus some variance for the present year and surrounding years as an anchor).  Yearly changes were too unnoticable, and there's no reliable source out there that i know of to show the crude oil or jet fuel prices on a monthly or daily basis from 1900 on.

unfortunately a typo plagued the initial update, however i'm not gonna flip the prices back up unreasonably.  

Pondering making the fuel prices update more frequently, however, not going to be implemented yet.

actually, I meant this msg which I didn't get. Previously, I had asked about the big difference in daily fuel expense.

Is that Will who can answer my question around here?

Another question, I have 0 hours left for my aircraft. Does it mean that it can't be maintenanced? Should I free 1 hour in its schedule?

1-How do I reset? Does it have any other +/- effects than just losing everything you have and starting over?

2-Can someone explain me those in View Routes section?

3-I have manually returned the second gate which I'm not using, but still "1" is written under Tagged for that gate. I hope it wouldn't return it automatically at the end of month. It is %60 utilised

4-I have tried to upload a *.png logo but it still writes that I have to upload a gif, jpeg or png. I haven't exceeded the file size.

Don't get me wrong. I am not beggingor something. I accept that it is my fault and I learn from my mistakes. I just wondered if "undo" is available before the game begins.
So my flights don't return empty. They just don't appear in the flight list. Am i right?

Hello, I'm new in AM and in the forum. Thank you for this great game. I would like to ask some questions:

First thing I would like to ask is, why fuel expenses have been changed in Feb game year.

2/2/1990 Daily Fuel Expense €0 €375
1/2/1990 Daily Fuel Expense €0 €375
24/1/1990 Daily Fuel Expense €0 €14,969
23/1/1990 Daily Fuel Expense €0 €14,969

That's a very big difference! I have the same plane and same route and same frequencies since the game start.

Does DOP stand for Daily Operation Profit? I had about €14,000 increase on this at this month. Is it because of this change in fuel expenses?

When I view the gates I own, I can't see my returning flights on "Departures" in the flight table of the arrival city. Do my flights return without passengers?

Also I would like to ask something else. 13 hours prior to game start, I made a mistake and instead of returning the gate I have rented before, I clicked OCP so I've rented another one. This affected my finance bad. Did I somehow have the chance to undo this action since the game haven't started at that time?
