just realized that, it takes a long time to pay back a 747

should take a little less than a month of game time me thinks.

A little bit of math for those too lazy

747-400 on Whatever airlines from Los Angeles to Sydney

9 first class tickets at 10k a piece (23 FC seats)=90k that's fair price, no taxes added

62 Business class tickets sold at 5500 a Fair=341k That's also with taxes paid by customer

280 Economy class tickets sold a 1200 a Fair=336k as above

767 Thousand in Revenue

Fuel prices........

you average 747-400 will burn 54000 gallons or so on a flight like this at a good price considering quantity discount (3.80 a US gallon)

205,200 dollars

Gate price+Landing fee
10,000~ range for that flight
Employee costs
15,000~ (including ground crews)
Maintnence fees
100,000~
Insurance
25,000~

you still make 411,000 dollars on an Okay load

doing a round trip every 1.5 days means it would take 2 to 3 years of flying the route to actually start making a profit lol
