Japanese Watermelon thingy as the negative 1 gate in CDG... Intersting.

I don't know what you're talking about. I totally took that picture at CDG. I also have photos of platform 9 3/4 at Charing Cross. Anyone wanna see them?

Well the problem is that many of us have a job in real life and cant be sitting 24/7 looking at this screen to find a gate.
I know you are working whit the problem, and im happy whit it. But the problem ruin this great game!

I think it's an exaggeration to say that's ruining the game. In fact it would ruin the game if anyone could get a gate at any airport anytime.

THAT'S RIGHT! WE KNOW GERMAN AT PEDESTRIAN WINGS. How un-pedestrian

Although I understand what you wanted to say it is quiet not perfect. Funny that you love soccer. Thats not typical for a real american. I guess you have german ancestors or you have spent a long time in Germany at least.

Iss doch 'ne Weltsprache. Mensch!

I don't have a single German ancestor! (Phew.) I've dated two German girls and lived with one here in San Francisco.

Thanks. :D 6th grade and english is your native language? I guess you are around 13 years old? I am 32 and started to learn english when I was 13. So I should have a little more experience than you have  To be honest: I use english many times a day - not only here  but in my job. I could probably describe a whole engine in english but my financial english is pretty poor

no i'm not that young

im 17 now, but i still didn't understand english grammar since the 6th grade. Imagine that i have learn it so long, but still didn't understand it

Me too. But I try my best ... sometimes. Have you tried german? Thats my first language but i have heard after chinese it must be the hardest language to learn for a foreigner. I noticed that we do not talk strict to the rules of that language. Best example would be past/present perfect. We use the present perfect more often than we should ... instead of using simple past

JFK-NAP

Block time with a L-1049 is exactly 12 hours, yet I can only do a 0.5 frequency.

I just came across the absolute worst in price slashing, just check out Denver to Sacramento and you'll be able to pick out the totally unnecessary price slash from a mile away.

Everyone on the route is over 200 euros, i can still fill a plane at over 400 euros, so how come this guy can fairly add a route at 19 euros?

Outrageous.

Maybe it's just a promotion. Besides, it's hard for Coloradans to find a few euros lying around, much less 400 euros! I think I have 3 euros tucked in a suitcase from my last vacation...  :P

Stephen's hiding in ireland somewhere, I'm hiding in the states (typically somewhere between the midwest and pennsylvania); the admin team hides anywhere from random places in the states to the UK and a few other places in Europe.

Thanks for the thought though. :D always a great reason to drink.

Aw drat, that would have been legendary! I could have started a new pilgrimage tradition, in which AM players flock to Dublin bearing gifts.

There's a drinking age in Ireland? You see, this proves that Irish people in San Francisco lie all the time about the "old country."

This is AM-related, but pertains to RL:

Next week is the Thanksgiving break in the States. My girlfriend and I (airline: PEDESTRIAN) are flying the new SFO-DUB Aer Lingus route. We're going to be in Dublin this Thursday (22nd Nov). We want to meet the AM team and buy you a round. It would be awesome! And my way of saying thanks for hours of free procrastination. My girlfriend likes the game too and she will join in 1960. Anyway, if you're interested, let's meet up (Temple Bar or thereabouts) next weekend! I'll give you my email and phone number if you reply.

P.S. It will be our first time in Ireland.

can we have an airline mogul game for people over the age of 21? and people for under the age of 21?

people over 21 pay a small fee with their OWN credit card? i.e. $2

it makes no sense for someone to jump onto an 800 euro route and drop it to 50 bucks to get rid of competition
i think stephen has seen our countless plots/rants to get rid of the competition on another forum

21 seems arbitrary. I've had a credit card since I was 16. I can check statements going back ten years to see which girlfriend was the most expensive...

Although I just realized this may be a country specific issue. In some US states you can work at age 16 (or 15 or 14, etc.) and thus you're entitled to all bank services. Maybe in your country it's 21.

Anyway, I digress, yes I think AM should cost something, if that means the layout and fun-factor could improve.

Hub effect is so twentieth century, dude. Oh wait... it's the fifties now. I forgot.

I'll fix them as I'm made aware of them (or notice them otherwise) if and when i need to work on the affected file, or periodically as a spurt.

so far we have "Transations" twice in the operations department, "Most be a hub..." in create route.

so. post them up, page/typo.  Time for a centralized typo thread.  I'm sure there's a few typos on the main page.

The airport for Cabo San Lucas is misspelled as "Cabos San Lucas."
