Airline Reports / IBERIAN Aerolineas de Espana PW#2042
« on: September 24, 2011, 10:41:46 pm »
IBERIAN are pleased to announce a range of new intercontinental flights and destinations now available to IBERIAN passengers from our main hub at Madrid Barajas Airport. Aside from our large European city network, our customers can fly to the four corners of the earth and even beyond thanks to the establishment of hubs and onward flights to many unique and exciting destinations!

By taking our daily Madrid-New York JFK flight, passengers can easily connect on to IBERIAN flights to Minneapolis and Houston. If you fancy going further into the States, how about a flight direct from Madrid to Los Angeles? From there you can reach Seattle and Calgary, accessing the entire western coastline of North America. Alternatively, a connecting flight can be made to Minneapolis, from where New York can be reached.

South of the border, IBERIAN customers can experience new and previously unopen destinations, with daily services from Madrid to Lima in Peru, and Buenos Aires in Argentina. From the capital of the Argentinian nation, connections can be made to Lima or Santiago, the capital of Chile. Or, Lima, from where you can get to Asuncion, Guayaquil and Santiago within hours!

Travel across the Pacific, and halfway across you'll find a small cluster of islands. Yes, Hawaii CAN be reached with IBERIAN. Departing Madrid daily, services to Tokyo and the delights of Japan can easily carry you onwards toward true beauty and isolation on the Hawaiian beaches.

Hong Kong is a firm favourite with IBERIAN passengers, and no wonder! With onward flights to Sydney, Australia, Bali, Indonesia, Shanghai, China, Taipei, Taiwan, Saigon, Vietnam and Manila in the glorious Philippines, you’ll never be short of places to choose from.

Slightly closer to Europe, New Delhi in India plays host to daily IBERIAN services. Further connecting flights to Sri Lanka and the exquisite Maldives can truly whisk you away to destinations so exotic you cannot imagine them until you experience it for yourselves.

IBERIAN – 5 star service, 5 star destinations.

IBERIAN Aerolineas De Espana is looking for partners based in South America and Eastern Europe to undertake commuter and feeder services to link into IBERIAN's wider international network which includes the five major continents of N and S.America, Europe, Asia and Oceania. The deal would work in the following manner:

IBERIAN flights depart Madrid Barajas and Barcelona El Prat airport, which are our two main bases in Europe. A third base is located at Jorge Chavez Airport in Lima, Peru, to serve the Hispanic South American community. Ideally we would like a partner airline to feed from minor destinations in the European and South American continents (airports with 1.5 million or less passengers) to our major hubs, possibly under IBERIAN REGIO EXPRESS branding. We currently operate a handful of Fokker 27-400 aircraft under the REGIO EXPRESS brand but would like to focus on international and heavy domestic routes. A partner would recieve the following benefits:

1.Guaranteed no-competition from IBERIAN parent company on any routes operated by the smaller, partner airline.
2.First choice and opportunity to purchase all ex-IBERIAN aircraft that are going for sale, which can include types such as Fokker 27, B727, DC-8 and B707.

Anyone who is interested please PM me with details on your airline, bases, current fleet etc.

Airline Reports / Nordic PW#1939
« on: July 02, 2011, 11:08:08 pm »
Since commencing operations in World #1939 in Sep.1976, Nordic has expanded rapidly to create a netowrk of routes across the United Kingdom and Western Europe from our base at Doncaster Sheffield [DSA/EGCN].

After initial routes were created to Amsterdam, Newquay and Bournemouth utilising our Swearingen Metro aircraft, more routes have followed. With Nordic, you can now fly to the following destinations from DSA:

Amsterdam
Belfast
Brussels
Cork
Dublin
Edinburgh
Guernsey
Isle of Man
Jersey
London

The routes to the southwest were dropped in February due to low load figures. In October a Fokker 27-500 arrived on lease from Max Air of South Africa and this allowed profits to increase to a point where a second Metro could be added to the fleet in February. When this aircraft arrived, the Fokker 27 returned to the lessor and with it the Winter link to Lugano in Switzerland was also removed from the flight schedule. All in all, we are looking forward to a very proseperous new year!
