« on: January 15, 2012, 12:00:31 pm »Of course it is. Best looking plane of the era.
Well, I don't want to argue on the best-looking aircraft
Grigorovich?
Nice idea. It's second to...
Shavrov Sh-2?...This one. We finally have a winner

No, this one was more succeful than Be-4. Around 700 were built for Aeroflot and Soviet army.
Cute plane
Some say that it's one of the most beautiful soviet planes, second to Tu-154. I don't think so

Some Russian cities are about 1100-1200 years old, and some monastery around modern-day Suzdal is dated 999 A.D. I bet there is no more such cities!
General Chat / Re: Count to 10,000
« on: January 11, 2012, 01:02:33 pm »Yea, Moscow and Petersburg are pretty big cities... The other thing is that they conclude the list of very big cities in Russia. There are 10 more with population >1 000 000 people (+2 with 980 000 people), and rest are much smaller.
P.S. Well, actually a lot of other European cities are older than Moscow (and Petersburg, of course), but I don't know wether it's good or not
