Title: Nordic Air

May - 1999

Nordic Air is an airline focused in Europe with Copenhagen as its HUB.
We are currently in a build up fase, since we are a very young airline (less than a year). But we have huge ambitions. By the end of the current year (currently mid in may 1999) we wish to open a trans-atlantic route. For us to achieve this objective, we need to maximize our income. To do that we started by buying an VardaxServ-Aero Hotter. This quickly turned out to be bad buisness, since it could not handle its routes (Our scandinavian routes). So shortly after the delivery, we decided to expand our capacity on the scandinavian destinations. So we went from the VardaxServ-Aero Hotters 19 seats, to the ATR 72-200s 74 seats.
In the short term we are looking into buying some Airbus A320-200s, we have decided to go with this aircraft cause of 2 major reasons. 1, our excellent experiences with the plane (it is the starter plane) and 2, Since Vueling (a big airline owned by danio100) is mass selling some of these aircrafts, which seems to be pretty much unused.

Stay tuned for more news from Nordic Air.

June 24th - 1999

Now when June is soon over it is time to set the status of the month, and things haven't been laid back though it is summer.
This month Nordic Air has climbed no less than 4 spots on the ranking in terms of airline value. This has been achieved by constantly making sure we offer the best prices to the best destinations, also as a result of our new size, we have found funds to buy a semi-new Airbus 320-200, and for that good offer we thank Vueling and its owner danio100. This new aircraft has been thrown into action right away. With it we have opened routes to Charles de Gaulle, Heathrow, Geneva, Vienna and Mallorca (before we operated routes to Gatwick and Orly. Fear not, these routes are still beeing operated.)
But we are not done with buying new aircrafts. We are saving up money for a new 320-200 and we are closing in, though the board have not decided yet, whether it will be a complete néw aircraft or we will turn to Vueling again.
