Title: [PW 465] Alliance Base Problem
Post by: XeniaAirways on March 22, 2009, 05:07:02 am
World: Private World #465: Air Alliance World
Airline Name and ID: AsiaExpress ???????? ID #14564
Problem Area: Alliance Hubs
Details:
I just created a restricted alliance in our private world (around 6:00am GMT on Saturday, March 21, 2009).  My friend, CominAir (ID#22694), joined the alliance shortly after, and as executive, I let him in without a problem.  After we had both logged out and back in to make sure the changes took effect, I noticed that my own hub, Hong Kong (HKG) was missing from the Alliance Hubs listing.  I thought it could be that it was my own page, but then CominAir reported that he could not create any routes from Hong Kong.  However, I was able to create a route from Pyongyang, his base.  Pyongyang also appeared in the Alliance Hubs listing, just like expected.

Thank you for looking into this case.  When resolved, would it be possible to send both CominAir and I an in-game message?

Thanks.

OK we played around a little, and we think we have found the problem... and a workaround.

It appears that the creator of the alliance is not actually regarded as a member of the alliance by the system.  I left the alliance and joined again, and after that, Hong Kong appeared as an alliance hub.

This could be most helpful info-wise... -ponders it- I'll dig into it today/tomorrow and see if I can't fix this once-and-for-all.
