Title: 747-100
Post by: Fitch on February 13, 2009, 05:06:24 am

So in one of the Private Worlds I'm in, I'd been hoping for a heavy to come up for Lease.....well to my surprise a 747-100 popped up for 5.8million a year for 48 months or so..At the time I had 112million in Cash, so I Grabbed it, with little Dollar signs dancing in my eyes at the thought of my first international Route........So I Set it up, JFK-LHR no body else was on this route, the route was Rated as EXCELLENT by my Marketing department....

I set freq to 1, go to set rate, alright let's start in the middle 500, LF is in the 30's, 400, still the 30's....300, up to the 50's....200, still in the 50's, 150, STILL in the 50's....what the hell is going on here??.......Highest 100% Loadfactor price was literally like 75 bucks........How is this even possible?? is it just the 741 maybe?.....I See people with JFK-LHR flight sin other worlds that apparently making a good profit.....

In fact my 741 is doing 3 Flights ALL 3 are rated as Excellent, and yet it's only bringing in 362k and is ranked 3rd in my Airliner Profits, behind my Starting 727-200 and a Convair 600-440......

What do I need to do to make some money with this Jumbo??

What do I need to do to make some money with this Jumbo??

1. Never do 1-freq on trans-Atlantic flights.
2. Return the plane.
