Title: What's the best use for ERJs and CRJs?

What's their ideal use? To network far and low Pax airports? And what do you think is their sweet spot in terms of range? They seem fun to have, but not sure.

I am using them in South America due to the constraints my friends put on my choice of bases, the CRJ200LR can get over 2,000 miles which is pretty reasonable, but only worthwhile really on a low passenger figure base, or to small destinations.

Well to be realistic, its nice to make them links from big hubs and fly them to say San Francisco, CA to Redding, CA. Just to stay realistic
