Hello,
We, Star Alliance, invite you to join our soon created private world created for the non serious players. In this world, it will be more for the recreational play such as basing your airline in one country such as Alilita in Italy, or perhaps be like Pan Am and have international operations with little to no domestic services or perhaps basing yourself in a isolated country and build up your airline. This world is meant to be more enjoyable and not a race to be #1 like many worlds are. Other alliance members / groups are welcome to join. The more player, the better.
So far the world will look like this,
Full World
Starting in 1980-1990 ending in 2008
Starting aircraft, to be determined, expected to be a mid range aircraft such as the 320.
Max players: To be determined 50-100.

But yeah you're allowed to join, anybody whos interested in playing in a world just for fun and not compeitive like is welcome.

Ill join....so in other words, one airline to a base, like only one airline in ATL, one in ORD, one in LHR?, etc?

Not exactly, many airline can hub at a city, My point is this world is more for fun, you can choose to base yourself only using italian cities like Alilita and expand your airline that way, or perhaps you could start the game in anchorage alaska for a more of a challenge. I was just giving out some idea how to play the game a bit more fun, you dont have to. My point was mainly just, this world isnt a race to be #1.

No you do not, this is just a open invatation from Star Alliance, since we thought more people would make it a bit more fun rather than having 10 people in a full world.

New update,
The world will be created on the night of 26 or 27.
We are still open for more people to join, the more the more fun the world will be.

We are also thinking of having a would start like this...
year- 1989-2007
starting plane- ATR 72
Number of starting planes- 2-3
base limit- were looking at unlimited hubs in home region, and not so sure on foreign limit, depends on token cost

I don't think we'll have unlimited gate since that cost 100 more token which I don't have but the limit will be high like 10 or so with foregin bases matching domestic bases #.
Its still not too late to sign up.

Is this like any other world, where you just play and have fun, or is world is like you need something you need to have?

It'll be open either sunday night or monday afternoon for sure.
This is just a world for you to have fun in. Not competing to be #1 on the ranking, but just to have fun.

Its a world were you can can just be small and not having to worry to grow fast. You can try and copy a real life airline, or just make your own.

Woo, we have a nice bunch of people now in the world ;D And just to remind all, the world will be made in just 2 days or so. Ill PM all the people that have posted there liking to be in the world. And not to miss lead anyone, there is still plenty of time, just post here of you wishing to play in the world, or pm me. And people can even join after the world is made, as its a fun world. Meaning there is no fight to have a leading edge on people.

All members joining the private world, please register at are forum. Please make your user name the one you use on this forum, so i know who is who. Remember all Star Alliance members do not need to re register, its already able to be seen from members.

Yup, I'm back from my mini-vacation and it will be made around noon tomorrow. I'm excited to see all the interest on here especially with people who are basing theirselves in smaller cities.

The world is open now, PM has been sent to all members who had posted here.
People can still join, the 24 hour clock runs out at 12 noon CST tomorrow so if you're still interested the world havent started yet.
