Don't know the routes, but in Canada there are lots of airport in some steep valleys that i like to touch and go on.

There are some nice islands in the south pacific, east of NZ. I flew from the bottom of them up to near AUS. Good idea to miss some out as they are long hops over endless sea.

I never use google for charts. Always EuroControl for Europe, or the local VATSIM related site for charts elsewhere.

My favourite-

ROUTE: SBSP - SBRJ - SBSP
VFR/IFR: IFR
TYPE OF FLIGHT: SBSP is on a plateau in the middle of Sao Paolo while SBRJ is an island Rio De Janeiro. Both runways are barely long enough for a 737. Both have SID's and STAR's that must be adhered to for safety reasons. They are both close to international airports.
AIRCRAFT TYPE: B737-700, B737-400, or A320
AIRLINE: GOL, Varig, TAM have daily flights on this route.

ROUTE: TNCM-TFFJ
VFR/IFR: VFR
TYPE OF FLIGHT: Short 5-10min hop from St Maarten to St Barts. St Barts is a short runway with a steep approach over a hill at one end or an approach right behind a beach at the other.
AIRCRAFT TYPE: C208/DHC-6/Do228 or anything GA.
AIRLINE: Winair or Air Caraibes
OTHER LINKS: To work best you'll need FlyTampa's St Maarten, which you can buy here (I would THOROUGHLY reccommend it-or any of FT's sceneries!):
www.flytampa.com (http://www.flytampa.com)

ROUTE: NZCH-NZQN
VFR/IFR: IFR
TYPE OF FLIGHT: Fly from Christchurch to Queenstown. QN is NZ's (if not the world's) adventure capital. The airport is no exception, with the STAR approach consisting of joining overhead and then a tight 140-170 degree turn in a mountain basin to line up with the runway. The approach is best done VFR on a fine day.
AIRCRAFT TYPE: Boeing 737-300 (Air New Zealand or Qantas/Jetconnect), 737-800 (Pacific Blue or Qantas) or A320 (ANZ)
AIRLINE: As above.

NZ is an awesome place to fly in FS, with a HUGE following in NZ and heaps of addons, free- or payware. Visit www.nzff.org (http://www.nzff.org) for more info and to see screenshots.

Pick an inter island route between Balearic Islands, Channel Islands (both VFR in a prop), Canaries or Hawaiian Islands (both IFR; B737/A320 will do).

Also try an approach at LOWI setting visibility to less than 5 miles ;)
