isn't there any move to make this game PSP/MOBILE compatible. i need to do several editing and i cant do it coz yahoo is down right now and am totally cut off from my cousin who does some of the critical editing for me in his PC...create route, and purchase aircraft. aaaaah! >:(

no! dont you understand my cousin does some of the critical editing that i CANNOT DO IN MY PSP like CREATE ROUTE and PURCHASE AIRCRAFT. the rules say you cannot have two accounts in the same game but it did not stop us from asking technical help! grrrr... admin helped me with uploading my logo is that against the rules? >:(

ok. PSP means playstation portable. we have PC but strictly for official business only and is closely monitored since it is common. so i got myself a psp since it is internet capable anyway so i can have unrestricted access to the net. then i discovered AM after months of searching airline themed sim to work with my psp then i learned as i play that the above mentioned buttons don't work. so i have to get my cousin half a world away from where i am to help me do things in my acct step by step. :-\

none if you would mean personal. yes if you mean for everyone's use. am still saving to get my own laptop so for now ill be stuck with my psp and ask my cuz to do things for me even if it has coz i have to lay out my plans and memorize them then thru ym give step by step instructions then i have to double check if he did it right. if not then we go back to step one...if this is mobile/psp compatible i dont have to wait 12 hours to be able to create routes and stuff....it is hard....

so its like a boarding school or library computer? I dont see why someone would have a problem with this game if it was in your free time.

yes, something like that...computers for official use only whether free time or not. but even if, AM is so addictive that you could spend hours just formulating your strat and finance conditions without noticing it.... am weird but i do take this game a little more serious this has been a game come true! lol :D

i can and i can't. there is a public library nearby but also a school right on top of it. i've been there several times and man, you can't even see the pc itself with everyone lining up and i don't want to walk 15-2O min and wait for two hours for a 5 min session lol i'll just wait until i could get my own laptop hopefully before my game world ends lol

Not to defend what the op is doing with his cousin and the game but what he says does have merit. I have a friend with a PSP also and yes one can use it to surf the net but it does have its limits with some site. I have the same problem on my Treo (my phone) I can look at my routes maybe adjust the prices but I can't add routes because of the way this site is set up. So I think that the op is telling the truth and does not need to be punished. Course one could ask someone who does have a PSP to double check to see what the op is saying is true.

None of the AM Developers have a PSP, so testing is a bit of an issue without at least an emulator. So until such time as we get some sort of method to work with PSP's, it wont be an option.

i can't wait for this game to be at least psp compatible. there are actually 3 glitches so far that i discovered- create route, purchase aircraft and when selecting a base at the start.
Stephen, maybe you have a friend who might have a psp please ask him to check it out if what am saying is true. thanks saw your pics looks like something good is cookin'. kudos! :D

my friend has a psp and can ask him if i can borrow it for a bit. But it must be when you are ready to test it out stephen

thanks seafly4fun, at least the reader could see that im not making this up as an excuse. did your friend checked AM too. i hope for all AM players with psp would check this prob too.

Well, PSP sounds like a good idea, to get more players, but it will just increase the amount of updates that need to be made for the game...

i didn't say that i will do it but i said my friends got a PSP and i can ask to use it for a bit.
i just have to wait till stephens ready as its not going to be easy converting to PSP format

but i would just like you to see for yourself what i am talking about so everybody will know, coz some thought that i was cheating and im not i'm just being resourceful and creative to get over some obstacles. Im just hoping that this game will become psp/mobile compatible too so more players could log in and enjoy and AM might get an award if it could go to an even broader audience. it may not be soon but im hoping it will be in my lifetime lol

I know my sister has a PSP, but I never got our wireless at home to work. And since I have an office area that I use for AM and other PC Work, its never been a problem to live without wireless.
I'll see if I can atleast get a hold of a PSP and then argue with the wireless and see if it will do something useful for a change..

thanks, stephen...you are always our man. but hey if you could get a public wireless hotspot you can actually hook up with your psp...i usually do that when i go to the eastside of central park but the best spot that offers free wireless is NY midtown public library and Bryant park. thought psp was the best that sony has made where you can play games, store and watch movie and listen to music, internet radio and you can use it too if you have the accessories as camera and phone via skype... :D

if you have a Java enabled phone, download opera mini, it will run fine on there.

mikhail thanks for letting us know about your issue, we actually discussed your problem a bit in DC and I believe Will thinks there may be some solutions for your problem, unfortunately private worlds are foremost endeavor and a few other priority items till your item could be looked at... may I suggest you make a detailed list of what exact pages you have issues with the PSP and was exact functions would be needed, please keep them to a bare necessity of items that way it will have a chance of getting completed sooner rather then later. remember more item more work less chance its done anytime soon, keep it simple example "all I need is a scrollable number pad"
Also Fox Airways, if you find the time I'd be interested in hearing more about AM on a mobile phone. what phone you use and if all the options work ect...? you stated "if you have a Java enabled phone, download opera mini, it will run fine on there."
thanks for the input with items like this we can help to grow AM to millions of additional users.

thanks Ed, i will try to do that. and thanks to Will and Stephen too.
So far there are only three items i discovered that doesn't really work in my psp, thus, i need help in the ff areas:
1. dropdown window when selecting a base after joining a world
2. aircraft list doesn't show after choosing a manufacturer in purchase aircraft
3. dropdown window for select airport in "arrive" when creating a route
otherwise, the rest of the system work perfectly. thanks a lot..
