What affects airline value specifically? Planes? Gates?

I ask because, although I transport more passengers than people higher than me on rankings, my airline value is lower than theirs. ???


So how do you consolidate your airline value?

In a nutshell: Profits.

You may have more pax but if others get better revenue and/or lower costs, they'll be building value faster than you.

Also, when you buy gates, your airline value goes down a little (i dont know why i just noticed it)

big ones for value are hub creation and alliance creation

Thanks! That makes sense now, I'm based in Australia and the profits pale in comparison to airlines based in Europe/North America.
