Title: We are moving the game; Reset or Pause?

Just a quick heads up, I am moving the game to a new host tomorrow and I need to changeover the databases. Now this was half done already and I have realised that the work already done has to be removed as its going to be outdated. All data has to be moved together, so this means either I do an entire database dump or I can move it in stages while the game is paused and login is closed.

The second option is to reset the game, I dont know if this is premature or not but I think you all know what resetting means!

I reckon pause it. That way we can still have the 19#0/2000 resets.

Pause it unless some crucial bugs can be fixed at present (without the bug-fix, there's little cause to reset mid-game imo.)

Whilst if we reset now (1996), there wouldn't be a reset after this.

I want a reset, because all the people out there got waaay too much cash to spend ( money that even can't be spend )  :shock:

Crow, i hope to have a new create_route page completed soon.  once that's completed, and bug tested, I think we'll be ready for a new age.  I really dislike the present calculations in that.  I should be focusing the majority of my coding time (which is reasonably sufficient) to getting that page together and beta testing it.

Until then, unless stephen thinks otherwise, this age will continue.  Apologies again about that.

I would like to continue to the year 2000. But by then we should have a few accountancy things up and running, aswell as some propper costs. As Air Elbonia has said there have been changes in create route, removing some current bugs but there are still some there. I'd say give it a while more and Airline Mogul should become more interesting. :)
