Post your W10 strategy below.
Mine is to fly within the eastern US.

Bases in 150k airports in the EU. Top 50 spot i hope. Not bad considering i'm going for small airports.

Top 50 is certainly possible and good luck! I achieved it out of VCE and LYS in W3.
My objective this round is...bases in 150k airports in the EU. Top 50 spot I hope. Not bad considering i'm going for small airports.

Sounds like me... Hmmm. Just stay out of my hub, or you may get crushed.

TMA is starting in the Midwest then growing out to hopefully eventually include Europe, Asia, South America and hopefully the Middle East
-
Making an airline in Australasia with a realistic fleet (No Russians or anything) and flying to most of the bigger airports in Australasia. Maybe starting some long-haul after I get established.
-
Be the biggest Airline in Canada!

At W8, i'm currently 26th worldwide with Antarctica as my continent and FRA as my foreign hub. At W10, i intend to finish within the top 20 with Africa as my continent and either FRA or CDG as my foreign hub.

Stop getting page errors so I can actually start playing the game :x :x

To be in the top 5.....

i dont want to get caught in the "KORD KATL EGLL" Massacres

Hub in a smaller airport (say, ~25M pax) so that there'll be a decent pax base but less competition.
After what I've seen in world 9, I've learned a few lessons:
1. Grab a gate at the big airports early on... or don't plan on flying there. Ever.
2. I like to start off with the cheapest aircraft in the game that will work for my needs and order as many as I can, whenever I can just to get routes out... I don't know if it's a good strategy but it worked for me in World 9. (although I started 2 years into the game)
3. Join an alliance with global coverage preferrably, but definitely with bases on your home continent.
4. Use brokers when you can -- if you stay loyal to a specific broker you might get better rates.
I'll be serving the eastern United States for around half a year before moving west.

Smaller airports in Europe. Moved out of Heathrow altogether and now I'm in Nice-Côte d'Azur(NCE). Secondary hubs are probably going to be Marseille/Toulouse (or Lyon), smallish operation also in Geneva. Fleet will consist entirely of Embraer aircraft, though I will add A320s and A321s as necessary.
I say this but I'll probably end up using the CRJ-700 too. Something like CRJ-700, ERJ145 series, and A321.

Be the Biggest Based in Asia.

Get rid of the An38 in one week.

Get rid of the An38 in one week.
Well, youve two days left... :D

My usual AM strategy...
1. Crush my enemies.
2. See them driven before me.
3. Hear lamentation of the women.
-
1. Test wether manchester is better than luton (normally no competition when I start)
2. Lease aircraft get rid in next week or so then buy the aircraft.
3. get 757 in early 1996
4. expand better than ever
5. refine my tactics
6. get fleet of over 300

Quit.

Quit.
That should save some time. :D

Mine is to survive :P

Quit.

It does.  I noticed I have a lot more free time on my hands (time I'm not spending giving myself carpal tunnel) since I quit in world 6.
-
hold firm spot in tokyo , expand into southern asia more.
-
Buy Embraers an entire fleet of Embraer , and make and focus city at MEX or GUA , or someting like that to fly to US.
-
Base in Minneapolis - St. Paul that takes midwestern US and southern Canada seriously. To the competition: Watch out.
Thanks, and remember to fly Northern Airways

Be the largest airline in South Africa, with an extensive long haul network.
-
1. recover from stupid start-up losses (newbie here)
2. establish presence in the Philippines through MNL hub.
3. start initial int'l flights to singapore, KL and jakarta
4. australia flights
5. trans-pacific.
-
1. Lower costs by building a fleet of at least 100 ATRs instead of 100 CRJs (im only 40 planes from the target! :o)
2. Utilise my gates as much as possible, by flying to them from 3 hubs. This allows each gate to earn profits from 3 flights, instead of a single.
3. Eventually, a fleet consisting of only ATR-42-500, ATR-72-200 and 737-700HGW. That means i need to retire the 737-300s and 737-500s...

Be the largest airline in South Africa
Technically speaking, I have allready acheived this. The only airlines ahead of me have bases either in other continents or in north africa (easy access to europe, which is route spam) which make up 90% of their value. That was surprisingly easy...
