Title: [W10] Page Error/Network Timeout
Post by: mashimaro_1 on August 02, 2008, 10:20:35 am
This is really really getting on my nerves, literally, every second click I make in World 10 will lag for a minute then come up saying network time out or page load error. My internet is fine, world 9 is working fine for me, the forums are fine it's just world 10 which is unbearable at the moment.

Is there something going on with the server?

Is it all pages in World 10, and what time are you having the problems at? (The minute is the most important factor here)

I am the same as well. But it's for W8,9 and 10.
I'm also using Firefox and also have the same message.
I've logged on at 7.30am Australia Eastern Standard Time and is still going at 8.35.
It seems to be on all pages, but only every second or third time.
I checked and my Internet connection is fine.

 :(

Thank goodness it's not just me.

I too am from Sydney so maybe it's an Australian thing. It was constanly giving me network timeouts from 6pm to 12am AEST. I just checked it again and it's still happening in W10 and a bit in W9 (I don't play W8). Even the login page takes a few tries  :(

Try visiting this site:

http://www.speedtest.net/

Select Miami as the server, and post the results. (IT will give you a link at the end of it) That is where the server is located.

For example. My 3G connection (Quite poor here, but I use it when my main internet is not working) has this result:

Nice ping!
Edit: Just realised, its pinging Hong Kong, try Miami and see what its like (The server location).

I've spoken with a few people on the IRC Chat who hail from the NZ/Aussie area, and they have no problems.

You clearly have not even read by post. I said to Ping Miami, not Melbourne.
