Title: Where did my plane go
Post by: coopdogyo on July 31, 2008, 12:33:34 am: i am in world 10 an i bought a plane before the game started but it looks like my money just disspeared will i get the plane when the games starts.

Your plane should be "On Order" and, beeing a small plane (that's all you can afford in world 10 by now), it'll take 24 game days (= 24 hours in real life) to delivery. This period starts counting when the clock in world 10 starts, too, as now it is stopped.

So, no, you won't receive the plane when the game starts, but rather the following (real time) day.

This assuming you can see the new plane when you select the "Aircraft" menu. Is it listed there?

and why buy a plane anyways,you probaly have 200+ debt because the cheapest plane on market is 700,000

Post by: coopdogyo on July 31, 2008, 02:03:21 am: well i'm not in debt for some reason i think i started with 5million. one other thing it is showing my monthly gate costs as 250,000$. it is not counting in my starting gates.

The game hasn't even started yet (as of now, 9 hours until the clock actually starts ticking); thats why you have not been charged for gates.

About your plane: With my minimal knowledge of PHP, I can assume that it has something to do with the delivery time screwing up because "time" really is nonexistent atm.

Post by: dktc on July 31, 2008, 11:30:18 am: First, your gate cost is correctly recorded at 450k, given that you have rented 9 50k gates. Your starting gates at your home base is free of charge for the month so they don't show up on your financial reports.

Next, as someone has mentioned, your starting cash is 500k. The cheapest plane is more expensive than 500k and you need cash to order the planes. For what I can see, you have not successfully ordered any plane. No money has been deducted from your account and therefore no plane have been added. If you try to buy a new plane again, you would receive the warning "You do not have enough cash for this purchase." in red.

That said, there is nothing to fix because all your finances appear to be correct.
