Title: What is the point of brokers?

hope this goes in this category. What is the point of a broker. I dont get why you would pay markups. Am i missing something?

If I recall, the brokers typically will sell you aircraft at a good discounted rate (as brokers I recall do get discounts for ordering planes, not too sure, maybe one of them can actually tell you though.)

Well if you use a Official Game Broker you can get 10% off on new planes if you use the in game brokerage system.  We also receive all the scrap from other airlines which we can then sell at a very low rate.  I always sell my scrap for 50% off.
