I say 100~150....

My opinion, maybe a good 50-100 in the first month, in the first two months, it'll end up with airlines having as many as 100-150 between them and then maybe by the end of the year, maybe a good solid 200-500 depending if they become popular with the larger guys out there.

I think a better question would be how many 727s will be ordered as well.
the 10B and the 727-100 are both released in the same year.
My answer to the 10B would be around 100-150 in the first month.
The 727 however will be 151+ because in my alliance alone atleast 100 of the 727 will be ordered.

I'm not getting the 10B because it doesn't have a long enough range, so instead I'll be buying 100+ 727s to replace my TU104Vs

How much are the 727's? I remember the B10's being 35m ish? Too bad you can't establish advanced orders... I have 300 planes to replace, with those new ones but since there is no A/C swap feature it will take forever to change all my routes... I almost despise doing it... I should have about 31 billion in cash by 1964, how many will that get me? :wink:

10Bs cost €30,007,622, and 727-100s cost €87,582,504
So that means I'm going to need €8,758,250,400 if I'm buying 100 727s....

That's similar to my plan except I'll be buying 727s for growth. The 10Bs don't have enough range for my routes either. As for replacement for my Tu-104Vs I'm waiting for the B737-200 in 67, a bit of a stretch I know. Hopefully mx costs don't kill me til then :p

One thing I dont understand is why have so many caravelles in hundreds when its range is only less than 2000nm? I can do all airports from atlanta at a 2000nm range with 80 or so 737's

I did about 5 billion in aircraft orders today... I was expecting 10 billion... :(
thats not counting the 160 Starliners I just took delivery of, or the 2.5 billion in CL-44's that I ordered and decided i dont wan't

10Bs will come later when I've got enough 727s...
