Title: Rankings # of Players

In W8, at least, on the select world page, it says we have 1215 players.
However, on the rankings page, only 930 are ranked.

Could someone perhaps explain why this is occurring?

Inactive / bankrupted players are not shown on rankings but are counted as players in the world.
