So far Cargo isn't a part of AM yet (to my knowledge).

Well, even though there are some crago aircraft in the game, they have been put in the 10th century, only because the game isn't ready for them yet, and this might not come for some time.

Cargo is not implemented due to data and the complexity. Hopefully we should have it in the future once private worlds and everything else which is more important is done.

cargo is complex? It is a box, does not eat, drink, quarrel, sleep, argue, snore, delay and on and on. Easy as pax, instead of 100,000 pax, you have 100,000 kgs of cargo and you have a/c with capacity in Kgs instead of seats. I agree however that the data is hard to come by, the rest of your argument does not hold water 777

Its not quite as simple as that! Where do you get the cargo data for every airport in AM? How do you work out pricing formulae for the cargo? Then theres the task of updating the aircraft list and putting in aircraft with cargo capacities!
Its not an overnight job, so don't expect it anytime soon...

seems like you know nothing about computers

He did mention that he agrees that the data is hard to come by.
As for Iranair, I doubt pricing formula is more computer code related rather than brainstorming related. The task of updating the aircraft seems miniscule compared to the rest of the problem.

lol. Want a try at it? Get me the data for the cargo planes from 1921 till now, and I want at least 1000 variants with real world data. Don't just sit there. Get your butt moving!

Just wanna know, the unit for the cargo is pallet or Kg ?
Some cargo may be super-heavy for an aircraft to fly with it but small enough to stuck into. (High density, in another word) Also, some cargo may be light enough for an aircraft to fly with but tooo large for the cargo hold. (Low Density Cargo)
For example, Aircraft D-747-400F can carry 200kg You may put 300kg of metal A, which has a high density, but it just can't fly. You can't stuck 200kg of cotton in it due to its limited size. But, theoratically, it CAN fly with those cotton.(If anyone can stuck them in....
Or I'm just COMPLETELY wrong?

Cargo numbers seen in the in-game airport lists measured in metric tons.
The point you mentioned (size vs. weight) is one that makes implementing cargo pretty difficult. An easy way to get around it would be just to use the weight. Another point is that even big airports do not provide cargo numbers. Although you will see many airports containing cargo data in the next upcoming world it is not enough to force the implementation of this feature (which I think would make the game even more interesting  ) right now.

Oh yes, there are Combi planes and QC planes, are you guys going to add them into game now?
Some planes are also converted into Cargo planes. So, is there going to be a 'converting planes' feature when this was implemented?
Converting may cause problems as this related to the link between Passenger Pax. of the original planes and the newly converted planes.
Edit: 1. And QC planes need time to Change, which adds up the turn time. 2. In Combi planes, how to price the cargo and passenger seperately? 3. Cargo planes have a small passenger cabin. Can we price them like a Combi plane, too?

Hold on my friend
As stated before there will be many other things to do before implementing the cargo. And I don't even know if cargo is coming - due to the lack of accurate data for many airports. Well, we could go with those in the game yet but people will start to complain about the availability of cargo airports.
So, no, no, no - cargo is not going to be implemented right now.

One step at a time guys. Let them finish multiclass seating first.

Well, idk, if we had a person to do this (like AirHanoverInternational, who does airports), then I don't think it'd be hard. We could ask people to help, and start updating in chronological order moving into the past.

I was the main person who got the majority of the planes into the database. I will tell you right now what I told Stephen, I will not go through all those JAWA's again for the cargo planes.
You may try begging MrOrange though :P

Have a look at the airports in the game that show "0" or "1" for cargo. Then go here:
