I always wondered what was up with that. Does the Donald run Tucson or something??? Are the jetways made of solid gold???

It's most likely the script for that airport is playing up...

It looks kinda like someone went to update the population at Tuscon, but accidentally redid the fees as opposed to the population.

That also isn't possible, because:
Quote
Airport Name Airport Code Latitude Longitude Continent Capacity Cargo Tonnage Country Runway Length Cost Calculated automatically
Or we can't enter in the cost.

I am not sure why that happened as cost is fixed to 6 prices based on passenger numbers. :?

(I thought it was runway length...)

Nope, the assumption used:
The worlds busiest airport should cost more to operate to than the worlds smallest with simple supply (Loads of room at the small airport in terms of pax vs limited with large) and demand. We can complicate it but thats for the next version. ;)

This has already been addressed (and unresponded) in the airport inaccuracies thread.
http://www.stephenm.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=357
Look at the last and third to last post on the first page. MrOrange provided the passenger data and a link in the third to last post. Then after all that was inputed, in the last post of the page, i pointed out that the passenger data number was incorrectly inputed as the cost of the gate.
So yes, Air Elbonia is correct in his post further up in this spread.

mmm... steve was sleeping on the job when he updated that (as it seems the site admins cannot have made this mistake).

Basically, the passenger number provided by MrOrange in the other thread mentioned in the post above, is the same number as the cost of the gate: 4,226,759.
