Can someone  give me some tips on how to price food/beverage items.

Misc expenses are I guess food expenses and every other expense imaginable that isn't fuel, gates, maintenance, or staff. Probably those "market research fees" for starters.

You can change food prices on the admin panel.

Charging for food may lower your DOP.

That's definitely wrong. After finding the optimum price, I was making nearly a Million Euros a month from food.

I believe a set of dinner will be very unpopular in my airline.....$40, for lunch......$35, for breakfasst....$25
A cup of coffe : $5
A can of coke : $7
A cup of wine : $25 (Same as breakfast)
A pack of peanuts : $10

 :D
Super expensive.....

Back to the topic,

Well, the food price will decrease your DOP if it is too high / low.

HOLY COW!!!!!   its 1979!  I was charging like .50 cents and free coffee ect... I'll try some higher prices for 1 month just to see but I think I'll stick to historical prices for my own personal game play, instead of taking advantage of the game and customers...

Yeah, well, I had my alcohol at $10, decided to bump it to $12 after reading your post. My DOP IMMEDIATELY dropped 3m. So I quickly changed it to $9.50, my customers did not respond. So now I've got it back to $10 and am licking my wounds....I can't believe it....my miscellaneous dropped from 3.6m to 600k within one click of making that stupid change! ARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH!  8)

Maybe I should increase prices a bit.
