Title: Can't Fly To Asia in A343
Post by: James on April 10, 2007, 02:29:02 pm
I've just received delivery of the first of 15 new A340-300s, only to find I can't use them on the routes intended for them! The A340-300 has a range of up to 6,700nm, yet when I go to start a route of less than 6,000nm, theres no aircraft available. I have available slots at both airports, so what could be the problem here???

it cannot do 6700nm round trip in ~24 hours seems to be the common bug. see this thread.

Nah, no real point.
Both threads serve a purpose, and if they could be cross-linked, that would be useful.

I thought I added in a little "fix" to increase the speed of aircraft on routes over a certain nm, I'll go check the scripts.

Well, hold on... since these flights are automatically set for 'x' amount of frequencies daily, why not make the script so that the aircraft can be operated 'every-other-day'? like Monday Wednesday Friday

Yes, I believe I've already proposed that idea on the other thread discussing what should be done.
