Title: 747 Maintenance fees
Post by: bryce82 on June 12, 2008, 06:38:16 pm
I have a question concerning maintenance fees, I recently purchased 30 747-200s and noticed that my monthly maintenance fees were around $450,000,000 before purchasing these planes, after purchasing these planes and putting them into service my monthly maintenance fees went up to $1,006,000,000. So that equals roughly $550,000,000 increase in maintenance fees for 30 planes which means that every 747-200 that I own is costing me around $18,333,333 million a month which means each plane has to make $763,888 a day to break even!!!!! This seems a bit ridiculous, and now I’m stuck with 29 B747-200 (sold one) that end up making me loose roughly $800,000,000 a game month (1 day R/L).
Can anyone explain? Maybe an admin can verify that nothing is wrong here?
Any comments are appreciated

The 747 is a high value aircraft, as a result the maintenance would be through the roof on the things. AM is really more geared to aircraft in the 100-150 seat category.

I don't have any, and I don't intend to ever. I got 727's and 720's, and they do just fine for me.
