Title: Maintenance Costs Still Making No Sense

I reduced by fleet by 9 planes, selling them and not replacing any and my maintenance costs increased from $84 million to $92 million.  Why does maintenance go up with fewer planes?  Can someone explain that to me?

Your other planes got older. The older they get, the more expensive maintenance is.

That's probably it.
