Title: Researching routes

Using the basic search, I researched Bangkok to Beijing. The info told me a Convair 440 could do the route, so armed with recently bought Convair 440, I rented a gate at Beijing. When I created my route, no aircraft capable of flying it. So 350K Euros wasted. Can someone check this out please?

You bought the version with Pratt & Whitney R-2800-CB16 engines. You should have bought it with R-2800-CB17 engines, for the required extra range.

Ah, ok thanks, but world 5 only has the CB16 engine option

I'm not sure and I can't check that as I'm in W3. But when you go to buy the Convair 440 isn't there a dropdown listbox that allows you to choose other engines?

Thanks yes. What I have been doing is buying used AC so I don't have to wait. Looks like it back fired this time  :roll:
