Post by: Wizzie on April 23, 2008, 01:34:32 pm
Sydney actually has 2 airports one just the single airport featured in the game. The 2 airports are Sydney Kingsford Smith International and Bankstown Areodrome (Charter Airport and future Qantas Domestic Airport)

BWU has no scheduled passenger services atm and is considered a General Aviation Airport by its operators. It might be worth including once commercial passenger traffic starts (e.g. not Air Taxi, Sightseeing Flights, MedEvac services etc), but as of now it has to be considered as just another small airstrip.

So why are all three Brisbane airports included, when they are the same?
And what about Ardmore in NZ? It has NO scheduled ops in NZ, it is NZ's largest GA airport.

We've pulled Australian airport data from the official Australian statistics, if it wasn't in there... it didn't make the cut into the game yet.  Wikipedia isn't a reliable enough source.  If you get a good source, feel free to submit it.

edit: outside of that, some airports have made it in which maybe shouldn't have, at this point... who knows.
