They allow you to expand your hubs when it runs out of gates. And the monthly cost goes down by I think 25%.

You don´t have to pay gate rental fees. I my case I have built a terminal with 5 gates at Gothenburg-Landvetter for around 13 500 000€ and before i did that my fees for having five gates at GOT were 500 000 a month. So after 27 months I will start earning money from having my own terminal.

So what is better, having your own terminal or renting gates? I have to wait a while to build one, as I have just started my airline.

Don't build a terminal yet unless you're just so flush with cash you can do anything you want, or the airport you're based at has no more gates.

A DOP of 6mil is good for Australasia, PAX is low, prices are low, I'm there with ya, I understand :P. although my DOP is almsot 9.5mil from AU and another 3mil from MOSCOW

Me in a test world am getting about 2.5million DOP from my sydney hub. and this is with me making 1.8billion a day, therefore being able to afford every aircraft. And this is without competition so I'm really suprised how the donkeys you have got a 6 million DOP :P

Don't do that, close one at a time, and straight after you delete a route, create a new one with the new plane you want to use on it.

What I do is I get a printout of that plane's flight schedule, close all routes, dispose of the plane, and then reassign to the new plane and other plane.

Or you can copy and paste into Word, close all routes, then as you make each new route with the new plane, delete that part from the Word Document.
