Title: [Known Bug] Route closure not allowed
Post by: Asuka on March 17, 2008, 07:10:34 pm
I'm doing some shuffling and having an issue closing 3 Brisbane routes:

The plane (12804) is doing:

Code: [Select]

Sydney      Cairns International
Sydney      Singapore - Changi International
Brisbane    Roma
Brisbane    Armidale
Brisbane    Brisbane Archerfield

Error:
Route closure not allowed: Existing route is the only connection between two or more other routes flown by this plane.

The other planes of this Aircraft Type do not depart Brisbane, nor do they go to the 3 cities.

Does the connection carry over to different aircraft types?

Simply put, your plane is teleporting. The logic chain has been broken, and therefore you cannot close the route.

Question remains why the link-break wasn't spotted before closing this route.

So how do I fix it?

You don't, unless you create a route that links that plane from Brisbane to Sydney.

Fixed, abit of a pain to swap everything around.

there is a known, unique situation wherein the logic can break, unfortunately no reasonably effeceint solution has been concocted yet.
