Are you doing it to sell them on later for a markup? That's what I'm doing anyway.

Small aircraft are cheap, at the moment its more about making money to get moving, not waiting several real days to order that first 737 when you could have had 5 smaller, slower aircraft that are making 4x the profit.

Starting out with such a great aircraft this time growth is much faster...but even then just ordered a Shorts 330-100...its slow, 30 seats, and can only go 1040 miles, but since its slow it wont be going on those 1000 mile flights, it will be sent to several small regional airports instead therefore maximizing the profit from it.  Fit it onto as many short hops as possible instead of just a couple long ones.  Probably order several more and do the same...then once profits begin to grow faster and money is easier to save, start ordering better aircraft and eventually sell the 330s.  Its better to start small and grow large then to wait out for a 100 million for that first aircraft purchase which could take forever.  Several small aircraft are better then one large one

Ah. So right now it is buy any plane you can, put it on the routes to €50,000 airports and keep your 146 on longer routes to bigger airports, then buy a larger plane to replace the tiny ones when you won't have to take such a hit by saving up?

Run the #'s

Money sitting in your bank account isn't earning anything.  By the time you saved up for a larger a/c w/o using smaller a/c, the smaller a/c would have earned its acquisition cost back, and then some, plus your resale/lease

Yeeeeeeea but......

Do you earn more by buying the dirtiest cheapest turd with wings you can buy, or do you earn more with a craft with twice as many seats?  Bookmark this post to come back to in 37 days.  :)
