I have no clue how to set up my first base. This is my first reset and I can't remember how I did it last round. :)

Easy. The first time you log in after reset, you will be asked what your homebase will be. Just select the homebase you want, and there you go :wink:

I don't understand one thing: When I look at the rankings page, 80 airlines are already set up. They all have just below 50M value (because of the one plane we all have), however there is one airline, SeaBlue pacific, that already has 100 planes on order, and a value of 500M. How is this possible?

I reported this already. I also created a thread in the bug section. No worries, I'm not here to cheat cuz that wouldn't be fun.

As he explained in another thread, he was still logged on during the reset and a few things carried over. Small problems like this will be solved by the admins. There's plenty of time until the clock starts ticking again. :)

I'm gonna make a print screen of this. I don't think I'll ever see my airline in that spot again. Btw, can the admins please not take away the 742 on order? :lol:

We will be stepping forward in time to 1983 for a quick 3 year round while some final work is done on multiworlds, both fresh code and de-bugging.

I'm a bit confused. I had that amount so chose the gates for my first destinations accordingly (factoring in enough for all the route research). However, I'm now seeing competitors with a set of gates already rented worth more than €750K (e.g. http://airlinemogul.com/airlinemogul/view_airline.php?id=####, which comes to €1,025,000 by my calculations), despite the income not yet trickling in. Did others start with more cash than me, or is there a bug in here somewhere?

Really? If the have chosen their base at a 350k airport they get the first two gates at their base for free. If this is included in your calculation it should be alright. Or am I wrong? :roll:

Have you tried renting more gates than you have the cash for?

An "*a certain airline*" already has a Canadair CL-215 on order, but I'd assume it's a test airline from the Administrators.

A "*a certain airline" has a B1900, but does not have the start plane any more. So they must have sold theirs for $750K, else nobody could have bought it? Weird. Or scrapped? Even weirder.
