Game Reset
The Game will reset on the 24th of December 1974. This will facilitate further enhancements to the game. More details as to how long the round will be along with what year that will be chosen as the start year will follow closer to that date. In the mean time, watch for game updates on the forums.

The round will end at 0900 GMT on Monday, February 25.
To answer any questions...
Yes! This reset was planned. This was only going to be a 5-year round.
Yes! You will lose all of the planes, gates, and cash you worked so hard to earn.
Yes! You will have to start over again.
Yes! Everyone else will be starting over again. We will all be even.
Yes! You will be given a starter plane and some cash to get started again.
Yes! Everyone else will be given the exact same starting plane and cash amount.
No! It has not been decided yet what decade the new round will start.
No! It has not been decided yet what the starter plane will be.
No! It has not been decided yet how much cash you will receive.
No! It has not been decided yet how many years this upcoming round will last.
No! It has not been decided when multiworlds will be implemented.

Pardon my ignorance; but what exactly does a game reset mean?
Do I get my airline back? With my planes or, if not, do I get the value of those planes? Or does everyone start from zero again? Thanks for the help.

Since people cant be bothered reading the release, which I actually kept as short as possible so that people might read it:

So when exactly will the round start? And is the next round confirmed to be a multi worlds round or a 10 year round?

It should be another 5year round until you get the multiworlds done.. really no point of having a saturated 10 year round.

to the developers:
I hereby suggest that due to the increasingly growing fan community
you decrease the support intensity in this forum and spend the free capacity
into the game directly. Might be I'm in the wrong thread...

I am fed up with resets. It was said that rounds will last for 10 game years. And now it is 5. I just started to grow as I've got some cash and ability to buy more planes for long range flights. And now we have another spontainious reset. I think this is wrong.

This reset is not spontaneous. We have said this is a 5 year round from start. Read before complaining~.

The AM website says "Game rounds that last between 2 and 4 months in real time " This was a 2 month game. It was announced as Pseudoswede said in December (2 months ago) that it would be a 5 year round.
