Correct, and a certain amount of cash (last 2 rounds it was 500K Euro), but not certainly a B99, it depends on the era and what the admin choose. In the 2000s round it was a ATR-72, in the 1950s it was a DC-3. Next round, we might get the L-410 I'm guessing.
-
that sucks its seems like it took me years to get to where i am now
-
Trust me, I'm not too hyped up about it myself, as my airline can go much further than it is now and I could reach full potential if it was a 10 year round.
-
Has the starting aircraft been chosen yet? Why are we not allowed to know?

No
Why are we not allowed to know?
Because it hasn't been chosen yet.
-
Please...not another below 20 seats aircraft....
-
As I talked to you before Stephen, it has to be an aircraft that one would use for the whole round or it will be like the Beech B99 right now.
-
what era will be next or will the multiworlds come into play (I'm guessing with many different era's to choose from?)

There is a post somewhere with a poll. It looks like it will be 80's. Can we PLEASE have a 10 year round?
-
It's probably going to be a 10 year round... at least I think so...
-
I love reading what people think is going to happen. Its great fun!
-
Please surprise us with:
Runway restrictions for planes
Multiworlds
1920 start
Only one base allowed
Buying landing rights
Point to point flights
etc
etc
Not necessarily in that order ;)
Waerth

thats asking for a bit much

1920 start, without multi-world, buying landing rights, with point to point flights, and 10 year-round, without the possibility of early reset.... That would be fun :P
(just kidding)
-
so what day/time will the reset start?
Please change it to GMT -8 or GMT time only...

Yeah.. you guys should definitely change the game to suit ONE person..
Keep the time where it is, it's easier.
-
Right now the month change in the west part of the USA is at 2am!!!!!!!! It used to be at 2pm once.
-
Change @ GMT or at +13 hours or -12 hours.
80's sounds good.
A good aircraft would be the Beechcraft 1900/1900c
-
Month change here in GMT -8 is 1am! used to be 4 pm! or was it 3pm... oh wait! it was 1 pm before!

I'm curious, what difference does it make? 8)

The difference lays in the ability to get some unused gates that are released at month change.
I like it the way it is now, it's 10AM here in Sweden :)
-
So what DAY and TIME are we restarting? l
example: FRI at 23:00 GMT use a 24 hour system plz

That was pretty nice to have a mid-morning reset when I was there over Christmas (right after the morning fika at work ;)).
In multi-worlds, will all worlds be run on the same "clock"? Would it help server loads to off-set monthly changes by a few hours each? That way, you would allow people to choose a more convenient monthly change time.

Better than what we in Florida have, its around 4am here when it happens. But its not bothering me now, I mean, we had people on the other side of the of the Atlantic and those even more slightly east complaining about how late it was for them, so this time around, it equals out.
-
Last few resets we had, there was a 24-hour period where the game time was frozen, but people could create routes, rent gates and buy aircraft. That way, everyone had a chance to do something and then just wait until the game actually started. If the same happens this time, there's no real problem.

It used to be 05:00/06:00/07:00 in HK. Now it's 17:00.
-
But in all seriousness...how long is the next round? If it's short then I can skip it (give my friends flying in Japan to beat me lol) and work on getting good grades in my classes. If it's super long...then I gotta jump on the band wagon and join up now cause by the time school lets out and I start...it'll be mid round and darn near impossible to start.
-
It's gonna be a 10 year round and it is also the first round with multiworlds I suppose.

Don't be so sure. Multi-world isn't finshed yet.
-
i said I suppose
Whatever... :)
-
Why don't we start mid-decade eg. 1984 or something... to spice it up... :P

i like that idea alot
-
Just out of curiosity, how would starting in 1984 vs 1980 or 1975 or whatever, spice anything up?
-
all the good (in my opinion) aircraft start to come out in the mid 80s so it would make it better in my mind
-
Oh yes! The ERJ-145ER! :P
(Unless you were thinking of the 532 variants of the A320 family, or the 1093 different B737s...)
Well, that's a valid point, no doubt. Others might argue that less "hip" a/c might make for a more interesting game.
