Yeah, that sucks, hate it.
Have a guy that does the same at FRA, wasting loads of aircraft running 8-10 freq to small places. Thinking of retaliating :twisted:

This is something I don't understand. Why do you fly the same route as an alliance member? You're now competing with a "friendly" airline. That's just the reason I don't want to join an alliance.

Well yes they are changed. I was working on it last night and just need to confirm that they are working properly with edit route tonight. The costs are derived from actual rates taken from IATA but translated into a generic formula.

Legal they may be, but I always question the ethics (as well as the logic) behind doing such routes. I have a guy who did something similar to me overnight using a DC-7C between HRK-KBP.

One person has ungodly amounts of cash and aircraft,and sees fit to drop prices on routes so that a small upstart cannot make money.
Even though its "Legal" here,it really takes the whole fun out of it.Real airlines drop their fares for competition,but not to the point where its ridculous.
Having been in and around the airline industry most of my 41 years of living,I have my own unique insight to airline Ops.
And I thought this was going to be a pretty fun way to kill time and have some fun.I think maybe I was wrong,and will devote more time to my flight sim work.Unless someone proves me wrong about the above.
Well, have some paitence, and wait for multi-worlds. Try picking smaller places to start and no airline sim game can replace the real world.

Oh well,its all going to reset in a frew hours anyways....nice fresh start.

There's no point trying to act macho and not back off, you won't win a prize for being the toughest nerd. If you'd spent that long in the airline industry like my dad, you'd know that sometimes (or always) it is better to just swallow your pride and let the other guy have the final say. At least I dont have 7 flights to each city for $1.00 fares.

Considering you are based out of HOU, there are a number of other airports within the range of the starter aircraft that could give you better DOP than running multiples. Stirring the pot? Hardly. Just calling it as I see it.

It is strictly for nostalgic reasons.nothing more-nothing less.I dont have a desire to see who has the biggest set of balls here.But I have to try to remember that most every one here is probabley under the age of puberty,and thinks they run the world.
Anyways,There is no rule that says I cant do that.Im trying to keep it as close to real as is possible.
But for the record,I will not let someone disrespect me.I might let the 1st remark go by,but escalate it,and I dont hold nothing back,even if it pisses off others.
I stand my ground,and dont let NO BODY intimidate me.
AM does not mimic the real world, however. Running multiple frequencies, even at 2x, decreases overall route DOP. Try running WNs DAL-HOU schedule and see what fares you get.
You get the respect you give to others.

@ ceo_txi: I think I have warned you not to post anything about this in the forum or the post will be locked. Like most of the time, I am the great predictor :lol: . Please act your age. You are behaving no more than "kids that have not hit puberty", as you have put it. Further "not backing down" and "demanding respect" could potentially result in discipinary action. If it really boils down to using "respect" as an argument, the case is pretty much lost (when you don't have any authority or legality to demand the "respect" you want, that is).
@myfere: Calm down. We (as in the MO's) have been trying to do you in for quite a while but we have not gathered any evidence to do anything at all. That means you are pretty clean (despite quite an amount of players have thought that you are cheating, because of your ranking, and your strategies). Don't give us a reason to ban you for being rude on the forum. :P :wink:
To all users: if you have to pick a fight, go elsewhere. Not only should you schedule the fight in another venue (and don't forget to send us tickets at the support address :P ), there are a lot of other games out there you could go. I will tell you this:
The player in concern has NO VIOLATION whatsoever. I have verified that with Bryce Rea, our other Membership Officer. Both of us have gone through myfere's account after I have received your email, just to make absolutely certain I have not missed anything.
That being said, I don't have any basis to ban the player as you request. I can't ban NON-cheater. If you say I could, I could ban you as well (simple logic).
All I could offer is an account reset so you could move to another base / region to avoid the player.
If you want to put out bad publicity of this game, feel free to do so. Please also post the links to your forum, so other player on our game could respond on our behalf.
As I have stated before, act your age. This is a game, if you are not happy here, you don't have to be here. If you are trying to blame us admins, I have to say that I have warned you not to target the player and said what you did. You just got what you asked for basically. (I am not saying I agree with myfere's action, but neither do I agree with yours.)

Btw, prove that we have any connection to the "gang" (which happens to be 1 player) first. If you can't even prove connection, and you can't prove he is cheating (which in fact he isn't), then we have no motive and no mean to be cheating with him. As a result, you bad-mouthing us would be an intentional damage to our reputation, which could also result in legal actions, as you are so fond of it.
Let me be clear on this, we, as AM admins, has not assisted myfere in any means to achieve the status he has achieved in game. He has not even leased from DEX this round. Myfere has not done anything against our game rules this round. So all your claims are false. With this said, we resevre the rights to take legal actions against you and your websites for future comments of similar nature.

The admins have much better things to do than be in cahoots with a random player on the internet.
You're the one on this forum making false accusations against two separate players whom you think are the same people. In addition, they are playing the game within the boundary of the rules. If someone is flying a BAe 5x between HOU-DAL and charging €50 for it, either compete or go do another route.
But since all you (apparently) want to do is just simply do a mock-up route network of Texas International, I don't understand why you're so upset. Create the route network, be happy, and make as much money as those routes can make. And if you go into bankruptcy because you can't compete on those routes, then, congratulations, you've just mimicked Texas International.

Fact is myefre is TXI Squasher. However, our players could always rebrand their airlines themselves in the admin page. That being said, myefre is only using one account. He has not violated the multi-acct rule, and not the feeder rule as well. He has not violated the n.5 rule. We don't have caps on freq anymore. We always target our competitor at the same base (which is a given, I target Emirates as well... whenever I adjust the price). So...no violation. Simple.

But since all you (apparently) want to do is just simply do a mock-up route network of Texas International, I don't understand why you're so upset. Create the route network, be happy, and make as much money as those routes can make. And if you go into bankruptcy because you can't compete on those routes, then, congratulations, you've just mimicked Texas International.

When its done in fun and not for malicious reasons,thats all good.
I havent targeted anybody.
The routes were empty,and kingfisher jumped in,and I did not lower my fares to 50.00 to screw him around.
I welcomed the competition,and in fact,and we kept the fares at reasonable levels,and we both made decent money.
But when you get blatent like your 4itch boy did, I have issue with that.

It's been said here before; "this is a game, treat it as such". I'm an old man by comparison and grew up in the "game board" era. You learned a lot more about strategy and game theory back then, I don't know why. The problem with City-Taxi is that he doesn't understand cause and effect in MMOG's. Something he (player A) does eventually causes an adverse effect to another player (player B). So in his mind, he should do as he pleases to replicate Texas Airways' (OWTF) real live schedule, but he doesn't understand that we're malicious game players not dictated by corporate accounting departments and stock holders. I would have no problem dropping every single fare he shares with me to 1 Euro because it's a game. There is no tangible reward/penalty to me. In real life if I did that, my airline would be mocked by every single media outlet known to man for it's asinine business decisions.
That aside, TXI, just seriously relax. Breathe. Count to ten. Walk away from the game for a few days (to build up a large cash base) then come back and buy several very fast planes then stick it to the other players.
In no game nor no sport has a whining player ever been able to convert a judges decision, or in this case, public opinion. This is not a team sports, it's every man for himself. As a gesture of good faith, I'll broker some aircraft for you just to get you moving along. PM me if you'd like; UnderwAir.
