Title: The Data of A300B1
Post by: Yukisenki on February 04, 2008, 05:09:11 pm
I hope to know where did the game get the data
I have a book is about airbus
It's only say that A300B1 is  has accommodation for 259 passengers with a maximum weight of 132,000 kg and two General Electric CF6-50A engines of 220 kN thrust
And it's not a production version
Also in the Airbus website only is for 266passengers
Why the date in game is for 300passengers?

The A300B1 should be able to carry 296/302 pax in high-density, all economy seats (at 74 cm pitch I think, but not 100% sure) according to the Jane's All the World's Aircraft.

It is not production version, which is absolutely true. Only 2 were delivered, and those were the prototypes I believe.

AFAIK only one of the prototypes were sold to an airline. But both have been scrapped already.

mmk. So at least one is sold
Whether they are scrapped does not matter. A lot of planes, like the DC-3's have been scrapped/retired mostly.

But there are still some of them in flying condition. Anyway, I will not order more of the A300's. They are not much worth on my continent now and I do not want to replace all my other aircrafts. Too much work.

Might want to reconsider the A300B1 airspeed, say's that it's 875km/h Cruise speed at 31,000 feet. Considering the temperature is ISA at 31,000; which is -47, Mach 0.82 give's me around 480 knot's on the CRP-5.. It's around 300 knot's in the game I think..  :?

As I have told you in PM, I am very busy. At this moment, I stink... (as in I need a shower and do my laundry  ... I have put those off for half a week  ... and more than a week to go to the grocery store    ).

In another thread here under data, I have said that I will look into it incase I made some stupid mistake. However, I need time.... more time. Could I trade in some with you, please? You could take my garbage with you... or maybe some dirty laundry if you want those. :P

Do we really need 3 threads about the same plane?

First Airbus plane in the game Stephen, I think it's worth it.. Yet your point is understandable.

If that, you should update the DC-10 and L1011 too

DC-10 at JAL data for Japan is 318 seats

In ANA Homepages the L1011-1 is 326 seats

For the DC-10's, I know. However, there are too many of them being operated that I can't do anything about those in the middle of a round.

For the Tristar's, is that the 1011-1? There are some later versions with 302 pax in the database. The ANA website has its range for 5000km. Maybe that is a reduction of range you might want to see?

All of Delta's L1011-1s and -250s were 302 pax.  Eastern's -1s were also.  The 5000 nm range is a bit excessive for the -1s though.  The -250 would have been closer, probably in the neighborhood of about 4000 nm (They used to fly ATL-LGW)

If I recall properly, the 256 pax version with the 5000+ nm range was the short body -500 variant
