Question: should this be indeed wrong and if game specifications were changed, what would happen to already ordered planes? Would their speed be updated also?

The stats, if wrong, probably won't be changed until the next reset to prevent differences between aircraft of the same type. Still, the A300b1 is the first Airbus jet ever to be built, which might account for its low speed. Still, I'd say typical cruise speed for an A300 would be around the 482kts, but that's just a calculation based on some online sources.

Seeing that I got it out directly from JAWA, there is not much I could say.

Only 2 A300B1 ever went into service. They were the first developed prototypes. A300B2-100 superseded it in 74. The A300B2 was the production model, with a speed of 457 kts.

But there's no reason why there should be a speed difference of 100 (!) knots between the B1 and the B2- unless the gear wasn't retractable

Another idea: Just let the A300B1-owners pay 5-10 mio for a speed upgrade and be done with it...

It is not going to be change this round... because...

1. I don't have time to go check
2. That would be too large a change~
3. Unless I made a very dumb mistake (which happens), the data should be correct.

I'd guess that's it (not saying that you're dumb or anything!)
