hi, lets gather, people who are no longer in school etc and dont have hours and hours to waste on am, yet still play!
how do all you "working people" manage? i am sure that our playingstyle is very different to the percieved majority of "minors or students who dont have to manage their time efficiently"
i am usually checking into am once or twice during work, to order new planes, besides that i am usually limited to "15-20 minutes of putting new planes on a route" in the moring and maybe 45 minutes of whatever makes sense in the evening.
i also have the AM chat open when at work and visit it(and the forum) every now and then!

my work is on the net from home. Which means I am glued to the laptop for 10-12 hours anyway. I usually give myself 5-10 minute breaks and then check on the airline with 3x 30 minutes a day. This is when I do not have to wait for my programmer to finish his job. Because if that is the case I have oceans of time.
Apart from that I play comedy in a Thai comedygroup in the evenings and play in tv shows and movies every now and then.

I have a job at AMS 8)
During work I usually check AM once or twice a day, when I have time for it. At work, I only adjust my routes and don't open any new routes (takes too much time).

I check in to AM a couple of times during my work day, I sit behind a darn conputer for 10 hours at work, and when I get home I sit behind another one for leisure as well, lol :)
Sometimes I edit some routes, sometimes I add a couple of new ones, but my main AM time is an "edit route frenzy" 6.00 in the morning (Sorry DAK :lol:) while eating breakfast, and a 30-45 minutes of creating routes just before bedtime.
My bosses pay me big bucks to work, not play AM, those buggers :D

I'm going to be flogged for it, but I'm still a student. Barely. I'm about to graduate college, and I work full time at a large GA airport. I work more than I go to school. but anyway, I check on this at work 2 - 3 times a day. But it depends on the weather too. Like if its stormy or icy or something, and no one flies, I waste a lot of time toying with my routes and aircraft.

AM is blocked at work for me....
So I get on when I have a chance... In the evenings when I am answering e-mails for my business, or moderating one of the forums, or when I need a break from writing technical articles.....

not really "working"...a graduate student. i log in for maybe an hour each evening to do the plane and routes things. though the more routes i have, the more time it's taking to modify them. but that's about it. good thing most planes arrive in multiples of 24 "days" so if i log in at about the same time each night, they're all waiting.

I'm a senior this year and I have almost all of my core classes completed so most of my classes are electives that I do nothing in. Today I ate at school 4 times because of my elective classes. The rest of the time we do nothing and so AM comes up.

okay...... :lol: Im a student in 8th grade, with no relief from hw and in that term, am not looking forwords to high school.....

Well, my freshman year I only had 1 elective. Now I only have 2 classes that aren't electives. I only have English IV and American Government this year, the rest are electives. 2 of those electives we cook in. So that is where the eating more at school comes in.

going to school or studying is not compareable with working timewise except few exceptions! i know thats something that pupils and students never want to believe, but please, no educational facility talk.

I'm Cabin Crew for R*****r (which if you can guess the airline, will tell you how many hours i do per day) and i still have time to manage my airline on AM :o

darn :( the schools blocked airlinemogul and the forums and i\\\'m on a curfew at home with my latop :(
at least I know of a way to access both, oh wait, im off to talk to a admin
just to add onto that the blocker says its a Proxy Anonymizer :shock:
they also blocked google once at our school

Lol our school admin is a weak target- people store *cabbage*&games on the school computers and he doesn't find out :roll:
Also he tried to block some websites, but he only blocked them in IE and I use Opera/FiFo :D

Our school computers are impossible to get past.
Most websites are blocked anyway, and there is no way to get around them. Sometimes the odd proxy appears that can be used but it is always found out within a week
On the other hand, i'm not sad enough to log into AM in school :D

+1 :lol: but i dont use proxy sites, Only when in emergencies or I need to check out a site quickly and its important
I managed to email the london grid for learning to get AM unblocked, and it was :D

Work related:
I have an office job so I can log in every now and then, onm top of that I am our systems and IT manager, so I can check what everyone surfs to, and block sites :lol: Fortunately no one checks me hehe.
Other than that duty my title is Head of development in the environmental department in the municipality of Lund, Sweden, where I work with environmental issues mostly regarding waste, but also am in a board that works for the reduction of CO2 emissions. Being an environmentalist my main hobby might seem strange, as aviation is a huge polluter :lol
But, I'm not an extremist, I get more pissed wioth people driving fuel guzzling SUV's than people going to Ibiza for a holiday :)

Let me tell you something, the AN-225 came to Skrydstrup in Denmark, and they had to cut down a lot of trees to make room for it, and believe me, had I known about it I would have volunteered to cutting them buggers down :lol:
And the only reason that I'm a vegetarian is that I hate plants, not that I love animals!
Btw, I am a militant carnivore, I only eat things that can move by themselves (Tumble weed is an exception though :lol:)

I know, I just have to make clear where I draw the line between veggie and meat :lol:

Work full time and check AM 2-3 times a day. (am a member of the management team so tend to get away with it :lol: ) Also study at night school, so during break I try to creep on.
