As many as it can fly within a 24 hour space of time a day.  This means the actual quantity of routes that an aircraft can fly depends speed of aircraft, length of your routes and turnaround time of the aircraft.

Wrong. You can only fly 2 .5 routes on any given aircraft

Why could you only fly 2 .5 routes out of an airport?  :?

No, your wrong Killian, an aircraft can do only two .5 routes out of any airport.  its possible to do more than 2 .5 routes per plane.  let me explain:  Say you have hubs at airports B and C.  this plane flies .5 routes from A > B > C > D, which is possible in real life.  The script itself says "Hold on a minute!  It's not possible to warp like that!"  whenever you try to make 2 .5 routes out of an airport with the same plane.

he's right.  the logic is only smart enough to see 2 ?.5's out of any given airport, not on the entire plane itself.  This way doing MSP-ORD; ORD-JFK; JFK-IAD [all one-way flights] is valid just as it is in real life and the older most common issue of MSP-ORD; MSP-JFK; MSP-IAD [all one-ways] is now invalid.  It may not be perfect, but it's a significant step-up.
