Did you paint it purple and orange again?
And start playing rap music. That would devalue anything.

Yep, me too. I've got a F27-600 where the value is dropping like a stone... it's dropped about €2-3mill since I bought it on the second hand market yesterday.

Yes, of course how stupid of me
Would that also explain why it is now worth less than my starting Be99, despite the fact it was originally worth at least 2x what the Be99 was?

Will definitely look into this... this is sounding far.. far off where it should be.
edit: ok. preliminary looking into this somewhat completed... it seems it's blatantly affecting only two aircraft, both f27-600's, one owned by you, one owned by someone else... the fair value itself isn't dropping anywhere near that fast, just your daily dep is for some reason too high. Can i ask: did you buy it new or used? if used, about how much did you pay for it? [it really, really should not be as high as it is. so this question tells me where to look, as seemingly, otherwise there are few planes affected].

er. i thought i refreshed and saw no new posts.
i only see this affecting 2 f-27-600's... singapore, care to tell me whether it was bought new or used? the daily dep is out of whack.. the fair value [appears] to be fine, so no real worries about the resale value tanking at the moment. when the bug's fixed, i'll try to remember to update the f-27 to a more... reasonable value.

i have a theory of what happened, but i'm unsure. i know it's a cosmetic thing, i'll be resetting your aircrafts values in a few hours [errands to run at the moment]. looking at the code by itself, nothing is standing out at me as terribly wrong other then this age we had a mild snafu with the aging system... my guess is that might be the cause of it. but. yes. definitely looking into it.
Also related: i seem to need to stop depreciation on those with book val <=0 and i need to have any sub-0 book vals reset up to 0 :P useful to know.

no one should have. it was an individual plane in every case that has come up that was going too fast on depreciation.

Ouch, if this keeps happening, then we can shut down AM until it's fixed. I remember this happened in the 2000's round but we didn't shut down. :)

i have a good idea when the origination of this happened.... and what's going on. it is an irregularity that isn't code inspired.
