Title: In Debt
Post by: zkvac on December 27, 2007, 10:24:00 pm
If I look at my finance page it says I have a profit of around -€230,000. If I multiply my DOP by 24, and then subtract gate rental fuel, staff and misc costs, I should have a monthly profit of €2,094,496. I only own the B99 I was given (and santas sleigh :P) so no aircraft lease costs.
Take a look at this picture. I was just wondering why I am still losing money. Also 'Ticket revenue' for the month does not add up- if I go to my routes page, and multiply the profit by 24 (€117,299 x 24) it equals €2,815,176, not €479,520 as shown in the pic.

Still doesn't make sense, shouldn't the ticket revenue be way up. He may be making a loss but that wouldn't stop his ticket revenue being 2.4 million. It would just mean his expenses are over it.

Edit:
Actually speaking of which mine is the opposite
Ticket Revenue:     (To date)€3,827,500     €5,108,682
Dop €180,497

Effectively gives me a ticket revenue of 4,331,928

Seems to be ok now. I tried the Operations department Stephen but that wasn't really any more helpful. I'm making a 350,000 profit now. Not bad for a B99 :D
