I was just logged in and I was updating a route and when I went back to the home page I was in someone elses account! I logged out & logged back in, 2 minutes later it happened again.
My aurline ID is 8107

You're the 3rd person (and the 1st non-staff) to hit this problem. I guess there's some urgent bug-fixing to do...

Hi , same happened to me , when i log in or try to to other stuff such as editing or creating routes im taken to some one elses account. Also it sometimes looks im reseted and it asks me to select an airport for airline base.
Also i just checked and cant login, says "Either the email address and password entered do not match those on the file, you have not activated your account or you are not appoved for testing". Cant give u my ID because of that.

I have also encounted the same problem!!! :cry: Most of the time I just logged off and logged on again to get back into my own account.

Is something being done about this? I just logged on and found all my routes and cash gone, and my aircraft is now a Hawk Commander instead of a Beech 99.

Well, I have been diverted to numerous accounts (mostly new players, i.e. Airline ID=8XXX) and even more puzzling is the fact that sometimes when I go to the home page (i.e. http://www.airlinemogul.com/airlinemogul/index.php?), I would taken to someone else's account without being logged in or having to type in anything.
BTW, I have also trued clearing my cache but the problem still persists.

I just realized the Hawk Commander is on order. I have no aircraft as my Beech has disappeared.
My account is Silkair 4126.
Oh, and while going through the screens, I'm now in VirginAustralia's account.

and also, it automatically log-in into other players' account e.g europ[acific, macau express, silkair....etc....
but i cannot log-in into my own account... :(

Its happening to me as well I usually get directed to some 8XXX account as well and can't stay logged into my account...usually on view/buy or rankings, others as well

I am not blaming anyone for what happened but I think it would be best to suspend login for the time being (as jps suggested) and fix the issue. If all fails, then a reset might be in order.
Alas, it is only early morning in Europe and seeing it is Christmas eve, I am not having my hopes too high.....

If your account is number 8107, then it could be correct you got a route you didnt ask for :roll: . I got a gate in Christchurch, New Zealand while I was going for a gate in Newcastle :cry: .

Yeah that's me!! Thankfully it's not detrimental to my airline, it sounds as if worse has happened to others!!

I'm going to stop loggin in until confirmation that this bug has been fixed. I keep getting bounced from one account to another, and my own airline has been destroyed, either by the game itself or whoever had accessed my account.

Not for you no, but my little plane won't reach Christchurch from Amsterdam :lol: . But I keep logging in, because I think it will throw people out of my account if they get there by accident. Otherwise I could end up like Shahfiz :roll:.

No problems on my or my better halfs accounts, but I assume there will be a reset as it seems to be quite a large ongoing problem. My account is bugged itself though with the petrol stations giving me money to use their fuel. If it remains I'll have to get some high fuel usage planes heh.

I don't think it's a password thing. It seems to be a fault in the login function that's throwing random numbers into peoples cookies so that it thinks it has another id.

It doesn't seem to have anything to do with passwords, when I log in I'm in my account, but after a few minutes you're in someone elses (When you check routes, finances, etc..)...I'm afraid to change anything in my account in case it does somethin to someone elses!

Anyone can access any account, allthough it is assigned randomly. I closed IE, started it up again and just clicked a couple of times on staff, login, register and about. Eventually you will be forwarded to any random account. So you dont even have to log in at all, which means anyone on this planet (that has internet access ofc :wink: ) can mess up everything :? .

I have also discovered clicking on various pages on the site (or access any 'old' AM page using the address) would eventually bring me to a randon account.

I cannot seem to replicate this bug. I've looked at login and everything seems in place. I tried using someone elses account to see if the bug would occur but no sign. I dont suppose anyone that uses IRC had this bug and could log on so I could get a bit more detail?

I'll have a go at setting it off. If so I'll download an IRC client and work for the next few hours, will have to be asleep before 4 but I'm drinking heavily so when I wake up I won't notice the fatigue so much heh.

Well due to the lack of detail I cannot find where to replicate the bug. I have tried another's account but I cannot replicate it. Are any of you a member of an alliance or something like that when you had the problem?

No one could afford alliances so none set up yet, attempted both IE and Firefox but no dice, seems to affect a select few and they have it constantly and easily.

Can anyone give me the time when it happened (Approx) and what time zone you are in, along with your Airline/User ID? I want to check the page logs to see what pages you were on at the time.

As can be read 2 pages back, it happened around 11:58 CET (GMT+1) to 8107, 7552 , 4126 and more (mine too, just cant remember ID ><).

All I can say is thats the best airline name ever! :lol: I couldn't stop laughing when I saw it. Anyway, off to check your page logs to see if anything strange crops up...

Mine's Silkair ID 4176
I'm in GMT +8 time zone, and first had this problem at 1400hrs local time (0600 GMT)
I'm not in any alliance and I use Internet Explorer to access the web.

I sent a list of accessible accounts to the staff email, and probably have a few more written down if needed. It happened to me at about 11pm MST and I was able to replicate it until logins were closed. In total I probably saw 12 or more different accounts, most being accessable more than once. I didn't touch the accounts past seeing their ID. Hopefully the same courtesty was done for me (unless you wanted to complete that last route I was trying for when this all hit the fan). Also, it seemed that the ability to get to a new account was a sure thing after a failed login.

You are in airline's accounts now? When you change pages does it stay in the one airline or?

Didn't realise it was an admin for a minute. That shouldn't happen now. Nobody can get in-game.

But I didn't change anything. I went to the aicraft page, nearly bought a plane, realized it wasn't my account, reconfirmed that by checking the routes and then went into the admin screen!

I thought a change was made last round that didn't allow you to sell your aircraft if it you only had one.

I have a new theory that it may be to do with Session ID's getting mixed up. I have very little experience in sessions but more than Air Elbonia has, I've had a look at a few books I have here on the issue but they are not descriptive enough on the area.

I encountered the problem for the first time at around 15:00 local time on Dec 24 (GMT +11) and my airline ID and name is a per my signature. I was directed to various accounts and was able to do so until login was closed.
I use Internet Explorer to access AM. (I know this is not the 'preferred' browser for AM but I don't think it would cause that much of an issue :lol:)
