Title: Had a VERY good week....
Post by: CornField on December 16, 2007, 04:26:33 am: I had probably one of the best weeks in a LONG time for me......

Many of you know, my wife and I recently had twins. They have been in the hospital now for two months, and it sounds like one of them is going to be coming home this next week....

My current employer's sales staff managed to sell enough products, so I didn't have to lay off any of my staff this week as was threatened....

Also some of you know that I took over the treasurers position for a 250 family social club in September. The books of this club were a disaster and there was no budget even started for 2008. I finished fixing the books this past week, and I finally wrapped up the budget today...... And the members won't see a dues increase.

I had two job interviews this week. One with a regional airport as the facilities director. I didn't get offered the job, but the gentleman that did has been in the industry for 30 years and he is 'slowing' down to the regional level. The second is as the stores manager with a LARGE airline at one of their MX facilities. I am going to counter offer, but I don't expect they will like it. A family of six requires ALOT of things for relocation.....

And to top it off, I finished my First Responder classes for the fire department this week....

I think I am going to go to the kitchen and see what is frosty, cold, in a bottle, and full of hops........

There will be six people in our house soon.... Only one of us has brown hair.....
And if you read the other thread, if JPS suddenly stopped spamming I would have time to finish the plumbing in our addition.
