Why make one when your hardly ever competing? Skylite and Mr. Orange are inactive. I see no reason why D Express is a harm to Hampo

no need, hampo. nobody sees you as a competition (you sell and lease bigtime, but don't do much else) and you are already doing just fine. Anyway, where will you put the video? It's tough to do that kind of link in the forums.

Easy: http://www.example.com/folder/movie.mov (or .wmv for you Windows trolls)

Helped build up the aircraft database and a few other things...
Feel free to check out the forums, the website will be open mid December hopefully...
See HERE (http://www.photos.aero/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=402) for a quick tutorial on how members will upload once the site is open. I'm sure you'll agree it is a simple process.

A (to be part-time) screener's been telling me "hopefully in a week or two" ever since August! :lol: Hope it does indeed open in mid-December as my hobby has been put on hold ever since another site's standard rose beyond my equipment's capabilities, and I cannot afford a 400D + 300mm lens.

Are the standards going to be as high as Airliners.nets? (please say no. please say no. please say no.)

The site SHOULD be completed mid december as there is only a few more things too sort out. The servers are currently being moved so the forum is down for a bit.
The standards will be ALOT lower than a.net (they are too high). They will also be lower than Jetphotos.
Over time the standards will increase, but over time photo equipment will increase so you wont notice the difference :)
I'd be more than happy if some of you on here joined up and supported the website.

IM SUPER HAPPY that you wont have as high standereds!
That means my photos have a small ray hope (now more like .5%) :P

Well all have to start somewhere my friend!
Honestly, post a few pictures on the forum and ask for advise (even if they are crap!). The next time you go the airport and act upon the advise given you'll be amazed, trust me ;) you wont believe what the results will be like.
