As my "business english" is a little limited and I could not get the information from the manual I have some questions about the brokerage system. I understand that brokers may  accept orders for aircrafts for reduced prices which is an advantage to the regular order from the manufacturer. I have seen something in the forum that confuses me. When I place an order at the manufacturer I will have to pay the complete price in advance. I saw somewhere that giving an order to a broker I will have to pay a part of it first and the rest when it arrives. Is that true? If so will it take the same time to be delivered as if I had ordered the aircrafts from the manufacturer? Are there other advantages to order from a broker or are there disadvantages? Does the discount depend on the amount of aircrafts I order? Thanks.

1. Yes you pay a part of it first.. then the broker pays the rest
2. yup same time
3. Advantages are.. discounts... disadvantages are you need to buy them within 3 days
4. No
Ok, see if I got it. Lets say I plan to introduce 10 L-1049 into service but do not have the whole money right now. I place the order at a broker and take 5 of those on the second day and 5 on the third day, right?
You place the order (70% of the value you need to place)... the broker accepts it... then it takes 24 hours for the plane to arrive. then you got 3 days to buy it..
The delivery time is as usual, like you buy from the manufacturer, which in this case would be 24 hours (for L-1049's). Then the plane would be delivered directly to you for pick up in your incoming private offers page. You have 72 hours to pay the remainder of the $$, and take the planes.
:?
Which plane is 48 hours again? R6V?
(oh well... i need more sleep~~)
Could someone please explain in simple English what the "markup" is? If this is a negative value say -3% does it mean I will buy it for list price-3%?
Thanks. English is not my first language and the "up" in markup confused me a bit.
Thanks. :D 6th grade and english is your native language? I guess you are around 13 years old? I am 32 and started to learn english when I was 13. So I should have a little more experience than you have  To be honest: I use english many times a day - not only here  but in my job. I could probably describe a whole engine in english but my financial english is pretty poor

im 17 now, but i still didn't understand english grammar since the 6th grade. Imagine that i have learn it so long, but still didn't understand it
I can openly say that at times non-native English speakers may have better spelling/grammar than myself. Embarassing really! :P
Me too. But I try my best ... sometimes. Have you tried german? Thats my first language but i have heard after chinese it must be the hardest language to learn for a foreigner. I noticed that we do not talk strict to the rules of that language. Best example would be past/present perfect. We use the present perfect more often than we should ... instead of using simple past :lol

I still hate my english teacher that I still know those words. Her grammar and english knowledge was really good. But forget about her english speaking. If you dont like to hear Arnold Schwarzenegger speaking english you would love to hear a sentence from him after you heard her. Sounded like a russian having no clue how to say those words.
Thats probably because she is female ? I sometimes do not understand my wife !
I speak & write Engineering English :P

THAT'S RIGHT! WE KNOW GERMAN AT PEDESTRIAN WINGS. How un-pedestrian

Although I understand what you wanted to say it is quiet not perfect. Funny that you love soccer. Thats not typical for a real american. I guess you have german ancestors or you have spent a long time in Germany at least.
