Is it possible? because I am losing a lot of money on a gate that isn't being used.

If it is rented, just return it. If it is built, email <staff@airlinemogul.com> with your player's id and airline name, and the number and location of the gate you want to sell. Air Elbonia will resolve it for you.
However, I want to point out that unless you are holding a lot of gates, you should not be losing a lot of money. 1 or 2 gates is nothing in AM. So, you may want to look other places, such as your leased planes, if any.

That is your lifetime data. Gate rentals are changed monthly in this game. 1 game month = 24 game days = 24 real hours = 1 real day.
When you took out the gates, rental was charged. At month change rental was charged again. If you are really new, like less than 24 hours, it could be possible that you paid the gate rental twice (which is not a bug) but received little in revenue. You would want to look at your projected totals for the month instead of the operation departments to be sure want is causing you to lose money.
I need your player's id to comment in more detail.

I mean this...
Quote
To Date Projected Totals Ticket Revenue: €11,974,055 €57,467,123 Misc. Revenue: €40,967 €196,653 Lease Revenue (Monthly): €25,350,000 €25,350,000 Total Revenue: €37,365,022 €83,013,776
(Da*n... now everyone knows what I am up to  )
With you being so new, that is perfectly normal. You paid gate rental when you leased the gates. What you paid is valid throughout this month (in-game month that is). You will be receiving money from your flights each game day. So... you have to look at your main finance page though, to be sure about that.
btw... how come I have 34 mil of maint?! Am I getting charged for maint for the planes on brokerage requests?! -goes ask Will-

Just took a look at your account...
you may want to cut down on the frequency of that route you are flying and fly to several destination instead. This is not the light blue game in which you could have a hundred flights for the same route and still get 100% load. The ticket price drop as your frequency increase here, resulting in decreased profit per frequency.
Your expenses aren't really the problems. Your revenue is.
